Week 15.
WEEK 15 The past week has been a difficult one, and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier; for the time being it seems the world is stagnating. This much lack of change isn't normal, at least not compared to the first time you've arrived; there are only two possible conclusions to be drawn - either Cyrus has finally succeeded in what he's been trying to accomplish, or some sort of drastic action is going to need to be taken before this world can even begin to be saved. That doesn't mean you have no potential resources, however; outside of a bit of a setback that will hit your group on Sunday morning, the departure toward Iron Island is a reasonably smooth one. Granted, it's a bit odd given that the sailor taking you out there is just as startlingly blank as the rest, but at least he seems to know where you're trying to go, it appears to have been discussed with him in advance, and getting you there is possible. The trip out there by boat will take half of Sunday; hopefully you enjoy being on the open ocean for that long. But eventually a rocky island will fade into your field of view on the horizon, and when you're allowed off the boat it'll become clear rather quickly that the island is very, very large. And with so many massive caverns to go through, it will soon become very obvious that this isn't just going to be a day trip. Finding Riley looks to be a fairly difficult task, but it isn't impossible; furthermore, there may be reasons for hope to be found in the abandoned mines of Iron Island. There are a few people here, and while they seem a little strange still, they also seem to have their spirits a bit more intact than those on the mainland; talking to them will reveal the same difficulties and conversational problems that the other citizens of Sinnoh were experiencing for a while, but they aren't nearly as blank as they used to be... POKEMON AVAILABLE: IN CAVES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week fifteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

[Because while Darkrai and Cresselia are Pokémon and he supposes we could do that, he's not exactly thrilled with the idea of fucking up the balance of things any more than it's already been fucked, thanks Cyrus.]

[Says the guy who can literally read minds if he wants to.]
You've been making a practice of talking to our local deities, then...?

We’ve all met the three lake guardians, and some of us have encountered Regigigas and...Shaymin, I think it was? I’m afraid I wasn’t present for that one.

That's impressive. How did you like them? I assume it went well enough, given that your group would be in a far worse state if it didn't.

Encounters like that are never fully without incident, or so I've heard. Working with such powerful beings is a good reminder that we exist in their world, not the other way around.

I'd call that a message that's come across quite clearly several times over. As a result we'd rather mitigate the potential for disaster with Darkrai specifically, so I think the current consensus is to seek out Cresselia before trying to approach it again. However, that does present the problem of us knowing effectively nothing of what to expect with Cresselia, while we've already had some faint brush with what I assume is its partner in a sense.

[Just to make sure.]

[...SO, YEAH.]
I'm not surprised that she's sent you out here and expects us to figure it out somehow, that's somewhat how she operates... I imagine she wants me to try to send some sort of message directly and see if that will end in something that isn't everyone being put under immediately.

I'm sorry we're troubling you like this when even we barely know what we're doing or what manner of power you even have to work with.

[...Riley.]
I'll do whatever I can to help you, seeing as we have a common goal and it would be stupid to do otherwise with that in mind. Give me a day or two to sort out what's feasible and what isn't. And what won't get my subconscious mauled immediately.
