Sixth.
NIGHTMARE. Riley has been largely absent for the past day; he's needed the time, he's said, to try to sort out what should be done about Darkrai and Cresselia. Whether they can be contacted from a safe distance; whether there's something he can do to ensure that there's no risk to the rest of you. You fall asleep on Friday night. You don't remember deciding to fall asleep on Friday night; perhaps you were in the middle of doing something. Perhaps you were keeping watch over the rest of the group, perhaps you were talking to someone, perhaps you were unable to drift off and sitting up poring over notes or books by flashlight. Perhaps you were already well asleep by the time it happens. Either way, Friday night begins to slip into what's technically Saturday, and that's when you drop off. And you are, quite literally, falling. The sensation is a strong one, somehing that disorients you almost immediately, the sort of thing that happens in dreams only to be accompanied by a hypnic jerk that wakes you up safely in your bed, only that moment of awakening never comes. The landing isn't a hard one, however, wherever you've ended up; it's one you're aware of, but not one that hurts you in any way, there's no physical pain. There's only you, and the ground, and the absolute darkness surrounding you. You should get up. Get your bearings. The darkness won't last long, but what it reveals to you when it breaks might not be as welcome as you might think it is... |

Well, I'm actually sort of a newcomer. Or at least it felt that way for a while. I woke up a month or so late, but everyone here sort of...took me in without question? It was a little amazing, actually...and ever since I've been traveling with them, we've been running into trouble.
[Which...is his Life so he's used to that much.]
Things have gotten worse and worse lately, but...we're still sticking together, you know? We're all so different, but...
[Atsushi looks down at his hands in his lap.]
I realized after the world was reverted again that we aren't just a group of strangers fighting to save this world anymore. We're trying to save each other as much as anything else. ...this group actually reminds me of the one I am part of back home. We're all different, some of us a little eccentric...
...but we're like a family. We need each other. At least, that's how I feel.

I'm very pleased to hear that. You all are so vibrant and fascinating; it's been a pleasure getting to talk to you. Knowing that you care so deeply for each other really does set my heart at ease. I do think your kindness and determination can help save this world, and I look forward to the day when everyone's spirit is returned to them.

What I'm trying to say...is that it's really encouraging having your vote of confidence in us. I promise you we aren't going to rest until this world is back to the way it should be.
