[You all know the drill by now. Ignis and Camilla have taken over the nearest kitchen, and there's going to be food in the Pokemon Center soon enough; a warm and comforting vegetable curry. Highwind's even out now, welcoming any and all who might need a large cloud bird to hug after everything that was.]

[It's been a long night. Everyone needs a good meal and a long rest, and luckily one of those things is being seen to immediately.]

[Chelsea and her Pokémon start eating right away, though the trainer herself seems distracted enough not to notice that Sunflower has inhaled his soup and moved on to eating hers. She just pats him and shakes her head.]

Least that's over with. I gotta wonder, though, what are they gonna do now?

[Rey is sitting near Chelsea, silently watching Sunflower eat - there's something amusing about it, and it brings a small smile to her face.]

You should probably watch your food, or it'll disappear.

Huh? [She looks down and gapes.] Bwah! Sunflower, you had lots already!

[Sunflower grumps and sticks his head up. He was hungry.]

Oh, man... Thanks, Rey. You doing okay?

...I'll be fine.

[It's true, at least - she doesn't really have a choice.]

That wasn't what I'd consider a fun time, though. Did you come through it okay?

I guess so. I'm just... Iunno, worried. They showed a couple of us what'll happen if we fail. Our worlds turning just like this one. Was it the same for you?

...not quite. Mine...

[...ugh.]

...mine showed me two of my friends, dead. It felt so real.

Oh, man, Rey... I'm sorry. They must mean a lot to you. ...You've seen a lot of death, too, I bet, huh.

...more than I'd like, yes.

...is your world nice, Chelsea? Is it peaceful?

[Chelsea sighs and stirs her soup around.]

Not really either of those things. But it's home, and there's good people with the bad ones and even bad people who can be good ones. Some of 'em just need another look at life, like May. Or they might be criminals, but they have way more honour and care more about other people than the law ever did.

Yours is kinda complicated too, isn't it?
