[You all know the drill by now. Ignis and Camilla have taken over the nearest kitchen, and there's going to be food in the Pokemon Center soon enough; a warm and comforting vegetable curry. Highwind's even out now, welcoming any and all who might need a large cloud bird to hug after everything that was.]

[It's been a long night. Everyone needs a good meal and a long rest, and luckily one of those things is being seen to immediately.]

[Atsushi honestly doesn't know if anything he's been doing is helping, but damn if he's not trying. He's keeping the Pokemon well fed and cared for, and he hopes that counts for something.

He looks up when Camilla comes over, smiling softly.]

Thank you, Camilla-san. This is Mizushi. I met him at the canal last week. It's a little hard to tell, but...I think he's doing better.

[He's not. At all. But...Atsushi thinks so, maybe even if it's not noticeable.]

Well, hello there, little Mizushi! You be a good little darling for Atsushi, won't you?

[Camilla will actually be joining Atsushi, smiling down at the little guy in his arms. He's so cute, and while it may take a bit, he'll certainly be a lovely addition.]

I think so too. Just keep going with this, won't you? He'll be back to his normal self in no time, I'm certain of it.

[Though his focus had largely been on the food, the Buizel actually turns to look up at Camilla for a moment, eyes distant but otherwise looking at her as opposed to past her or something.]

I'm honestly impressed with you guys, you know. Having done this from the very beginning with all of your Pokemon...now I know how hard that must have been.

[Chazuke had been pretty blank for a while, but not as blank as things are now. Atsushi had it easier to start, for sure.]

...It was certainly concerning, at first; they felt so lifeless and without any joy, and it made attempting to bond with them so difficult. Once we were able to, it was beautiful, but it took quite a few weeks for that to happen.

[Camilla chuckles a bit, though, in understanding.]

All it takes is time and dedication. ...And making sure to take preventative measures, if they wind up having a rather...troublesome personality...

[Arion kind of just puffs up with pride, trotting over to join them and sit close to Camilla. He's a proud little shit.]

[That gets a little huff of a laugh out of Atsushi, and as if on cue Natto shifts a little at his side, curling up into a tighter ball with her tail over her face.]

I already have one diva in my group, I don't know how easily I could handle two.

[He really hopes he hasn't jinxed himself.]

It's been hard not to take all the Pokemon like Mizu with me that I see...it's hard to see them and leave them like that.

[But he's been trying to be sparing on himself...just one has been a handful.]

[Oh, Natto, honey...Camilla chuckles a bit at that reaction, though, her look clearly amused.]

Remind me to tell you about Arion and Altena sometime; sometimes it's for the best to hope that your darlings personalities are a touch more...manageable, really.

I understand, however; were I not so full with my own, I'd do the same...they deserve to have some sort of love and protection, and to not be floating so endlessly.

Perhaps you should try leaving food out for them, whenever you have the chance? We'll likely be off again, but...it would be a nice gesture, should you have the resources.

I think I will do that, actually. I'm pretty sure I should have some berries left in my bag.

[And if he doesn't he'll buy some more just for them, watch him.]

Even if they don't remember it...at least it's a little something to do for them while they can't do much for themselves.
