[The Galactic Building is certainly one of the odder places to spend some time at, but it seems to be what some have agreed to do. It'll be interesting, if nothing else; a place that originally served to remind them of how far they were from home, being a place they willingly stayed at? It was almost unthinkable, but here we are.
Once the ordeal is finished, Camilla and Ignis are once again off into the kitchen; a long day like this deserves some good meals to go along with it. The stuff they have to work with is certainly...interesting, if nothing else; hopefully nobody minds eating vegetarian tonight, because that seems to be what the menu is comprised of tonight. Hopefully nobody minds eating their vegetables!
Get some rest, everybody; it's been earned after all that's happened today.]

It's no trouble, dear; I'm quite glad to see all of you fed well, so take as much as you would like.
[...] I'm alright, however. It's simply been a long, difficult day.

How do you manage it, Camilla? All this constant risking your life and stuff. I mean, I should be used to it by now, but things just keep on escalating.

It simply comes in the territory of what I've always done, really; I've always been putting my life on the line, ever since I stepped onto the battlefield.
It isn't something one gets used to over night, or even with this much time. It takes years before you simply...become desensitized to it, if you wish me to be blunt about such things.

I was afraid of that. I mean, being a cop was always dangerous, but the week before I showed up here was kind of a constant string of car chases and running away from people shooting at me, and then all this stuff came along. So you just stop caring?

[Hmm...] About any enemies who I come across, if nothing else. I care about my survival, and the survival of those close to me; I've simply adapted to showing them no quarter, for that sake. It's less not caring about what will happen, but less care towards the dread and doubt that comes with the possibility of dying.
It's harder to do than it looks.

[Camilla tilts her head a bit at that, seeming a bit puzzled by the comparison. Not too puzzled for it to be a point of contention, at least, but...]
Well, I'm quite glad to be on this side as well. You're all very wonderful people I would protect with every bit of my being.
[Still...] What was that 'boss' like, if I may? I take it she assailed you quite a bit, if she has such an intimidating reputation...

Well, I've heard of sheer spite being motivation for one's existence before, but that's quite an impressive feat. She's certainly someone who knows what she wants and how to get it done right...
[She kind of sounds hot?]
You are right, however, I really don't believe in such things. I take it she's no longer being troublesome for you, however?

I'm surprised that they would help you, after something like that happened...that they'd be able to offer any sort of aid in the first place. But what do you mean that you're getting into fights with your own people?
[Camilla actually sounds a little concerned there.]

[sigh]
The force is corrupt and so's the Federation. I quit being a cop when I found out how bad it got, so now I work for Angelica. She's a Federal inspector, but she's trying to do good, and the President turns a blind eye to her 'cause she's got blackmail on him. And on the other side, we were chasing Coyotes who were after the treasure, so we were competing with the Guild to catch space pirates.

...How utterly horrid. The forces of the law, that are suppose to protect the people, and they're rife with corruption? They're a disservice to all they strive to protect, if that's even on their mind at all. How disgusting.
It's good that you've found a way to stay your own course, Chelsea. You should have been a shining example to all of those ungrateful swine who only seem to be using their position for ghastly things.
