ღ don't need cars cause we've learned to fly on saturn
[The Galactic Building is certainly one of the odder places to spend some time at, but it seems to be what some have agreed to do. It'll be interesting, if nothing else; a place that originally served to remind them of how far they were from home, being a place they willingly stayed at? It was almost unthinkable, but here we are.
Once the ordeal is finished, Camilla and Ignis are once again off into the kitchen; a long day like this deserves some good meals to go along with it. The stuff they have to work with is certainly...interesting, if nothing else; hopefully nobody minds eating vegetarian tonight, because that seems to be what the menu is comprised of tonight. Hopefully nobody minds eating their vegetables!
Get some rest, everybody; it's been earned after all that's happened today.]

No, that's just hers. I'm not sure where she caught it. Mars has a Purugly.

...that seems like the sort of Pokemon she'd like.
[Since her book went into plenty of detail about how brutish that species is. Yikes.
Picking up a few more stray pieces, she nods at Big Golett, who is now...cheerfully tearing a machine apart, rather than pounding it with its fists.]
Well, that's my main Pokemon. I call it Golett - that's the sound it made, before it evolved - but I've got no idea what type it is or what it's really called. My books only cover the Sinnoh region, and I can't find it in the list. I think it's a Ghost-type, however, which is...bloody hilarious when you think about it.
[Seriously, how can robots be ghosts. Big Golett, you're weird.
...]
...hang on, I don't suppose you know what it is, do you? Being actually from the world of Pokemon, and all.

I've never really left Sinnoh, so I couldn't tell you too much about it, unfortunately. Traveling never really was my thing, though I may end up doing a lot of it soon, if things work out in certain ways.
no subject
...also-]
...ah, you're thinking of travelling? Outside or inside Sinnoh?
no subject
[He shrugs.]
Maybe it will, because at least that way I can claim to still be doing something useful to the group. It's hard to say either way.
Like I said, I'm still thinking about it.

[These pieces are suddenly...incredibly interesting.]
...if it helps, I recently got away from the scrap dealer who...owned me, I suppose. Since my thoughts weren't constantly focused on finding parts, so I could eat, I started to think about what I really wanted for myself. I'd never really had the opportunity before.
[...really...darn interesting.]
Not that I'm saying our two situations are the same, but...you might find it useful, that's all.

[It's light, though. Almost gentle, if anything he says can pass for gentle.]
I'll keep it in mind, though.
no subject
...right, still trying to work out this...lack of the 'PLEASE STOP' dynamic they've got going on here.
To her credit though, she does smile.]
I'll hold off on the sympathy then. I think you've gotten enough of it out of me, anyway.
[Similarly light; this is...weirdly nice.]
no subject
Thank you for answering me. When I asked about your life earlier.
no subject
To her credit, the scrap pieces don't immediately become Interesting again.]
...it's fine. I'm getting better at talking about it, since I've been here. Besides, the worst of it is in the past.
[...apart from. the fact that she's supposed to be stuck on the Falcon right now with the dregs of the Resistance, likely being pursued by her deranged...
...
...her deranged...Kylo Ren. But you know what, let's just not.]
Likewise, by the way. It was helpful, for...understanding.
no subject
He kind of shrugs at that, petting his massive bell like that's going to matter to it at all.]
My life wasn't even all that bad. I didn't care about much of it, but it wasn't terrible.
no subject
...you don't have to talk about him if you don't want to, but...was Cyrus...
[...]
...I know you disagree with what he's done, so there must have been something about him that got you interested in the first place. I'm operating on the assumption that he wasn't always so...
[...Judgement-y.]
no subject
[...Mm.]
It's probably ironic, I suppose, given what he was trying to do, but he was very good at rallying people. At working them up with impassioned words, at inspiring them. At making them believe that they were part of something bigger than themselves.
He's changed lately, but I think we all have.
[...]
I don't mind talking about him, if there are things you want to know.
no subject
I mean, we only met him once, and that was enough to draw that conclusion; I can't imagine what it would have been like working closely with him.
[She'll stop scavenging for a moment to return her focus to you, expression...neutral, but there's a tiredness in her voice.]
I just get sad when I see people who are capable of so much good just...I don't know, throwing it away. It's even harder to say that with Cyrus, because he seems to genuinely think he's doing the right thing by everyone. But when I found his journal, and saw the extent of his abilities...I don't know.
[...]
He seems like a very...damaged person. He really didn't like it when we asked him if he was alright.
no subject
Unfortunately, I don't know much about his life; I met him when I joined Team Galactic, not before, and it never really seemed appropriate to ask him too many personal questions. It's obvious to me that what you're saying to me is correct - that he does want to help people, that he thinks this is the only way to help people - but I don't know why. If I'm honest, I've never really understood him in a lot of ways; I mostly just know him as our leader, and that's all, and he seems to like it that way.
I've always believed that he's fully capable of anything he puts his mind to, though.
no subject
[Because...well. The...everything here in Sinnoh is pretty damn good proof.
...]
...I am glad you saw our side of things in the end, you know. Especially since Cyrus is so magnetic. I'm not trying to be sympathetic-
[-again, that last part is light-]
-but it's really impressive. Plus, this seems like a fantastic method of stress relief.
[....Golurk is still having too much fun doing this, btw]
no subject
It still doesn't...seem right, betraying Master Cyrus like this. He trusted me, after all, and I...
[His gaze darts a little.]
...I don't know. I'm telling myself to wait, to give myself time to figure out what I think should be done. But I don't know if I'll be able to do that. I want to make things right by him, to make up for what I've done somehow.
no subject
[...time to scavenge again. She may or may not be placing some of these pieces in her bag; old habits die hard, and it could help to have some potential spares for the Transporter.
...]
...I understand, though. Relationships never tend to be black and white. Just...
[...]
...just make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. I know you said he isn't violent - Cynthia said the same, so I definitely believe it - but we know from firsthand experience that he isn't afraid to...deal with those things that could threaten his delicate balance. If you could call it that.
....it would be a shame to lose you when you've come so far, that's all.
no subject
...He really didn't do anything to me that I didn't ask him for myself. I know I'll be all right, no matter what happens.
no subject
[....]
...look, let's...not talk about this. Give yourself a few days to work out where your head is at. You know we won't stop you if you want to return to him.
[...]
...you'd better respond to my letters regardless, though.
[Don't worry, that...still had a degree of lightness to it.]
no subject
[That's immediate, at least.]
no subject
Well.
...good, then.
...]
...let me leave you with Golett and Bronzong, for a while. I should probably go and see how the rest of our group is doing, since we won't want to stay here for too long.
[...]
...thank you, again. For that comment you made. Just...don't forget I feel the same.
no subject
...I'll keep that in mind.
