ღ don't need cars cause we've learned to fly on saturn
[The Galactic Building is certainly one of the odder places to spend some time at, but it seems to be what some have agreed to do. It'll be interesting, if nothing else; a place that originally served to remind them of how far they were from home, being a place they willingly stayed at? It was almost unthinkable, but here we are.
Once the ordeal is finished, Camilla and Ignis are once again off into the kitchen; a long day like this deserves some good meals to go along with it. The stuff they have to work with is certainly...interesting, if nothing else; hopefully nobody minds eating vegetarian tonight, because that seems to be what the menu is comprised of tonight. Hopefully nobody minds eating their vegetables!
Get some rest, everybody; it's been earned after all that's happened today.]

...Good evening, Emmeryn. Did you need something?
[...did you need something, does duma want to come break things with his face, either way.]

Good evening, Saturn. Nothing so important as to be worth interrupting if you are busy, but I have an extra set of hands if you would care for the assistance. Ah, metaphorical hands...
[a face. duma's face. which is also just about the entire rest of him.]

[...okay like
what now
he's not actively antagonizing you anymore oh god what now]

Duma, dearest, I have the most wondrous task for you.
[She kind of winces against the giant crunch noise that follows Duma, so horrifically eager after receiving his instructions that Emmeryn doesn't even get to finish standing before he bounds off, smashing his entire goddamn face into the machinery, but she smiles still.]
Honestly, it's like sending a child out to play so perhaps they'll tire themselves out enough to take a nap afterwards.
[we call this small talk it's what people do when you aren't actively antagonizing them to lighten the mood]

It's good to see your Pokémon so enthusiastic.
[He doesn't sound troubled about it, but then, he's not troubled about most things nowadays.]
It's one of the things I've missed, I suppose. Not just my own, but in general.

[About the, you know. All of this.]

[He shrugs a bit. Goes back to watching whatever Duma is doing, because it's easier than looking at Emmeryn.]
Everyone likes to yell at me about how much they're suffering, after all. About how I should have done better, and just allowed it to happen.

This has not been fair to them, but not to you, either. It is easier, sometimes, to blame than to understand, but that does not make it right. It is not your fault.

[So there's. That.]
Part of me wants to go back immediately. To make things right by him somehow.

[Which is something he hasn't really told anyone else, because he can already sort of tell what their reaction would be, but- ]
I'm sure he's noticed that the flow of time has been restarted itself; he's going to want to know why. Your intervention will be kept out of it, of course... He won't come here in person, either, unless I make it sound necessary.
I meant what I said, though. No harm will come to any of you while you're in this city.

[but. hm. obviously she does not especially care for that but she understands its necessity, too.]
Will you be all right, being by yourself after having to do that?
no subject
[It's not what she's talking about and he knows it, though.]
It may be a bit rough, but it won't be terrible. I don't feel a lot of the things that would make it terrible anymore, after all. I'll be fine.
no subject
[That is the response of someone who knows you know damn well that isn't what she means but is too polite to directly call him out on it.]
...Ah, Duma is having far too much fun with this... Perhaps I could leave him in your company for a while, if he can be of use, and come to retrieve him later in the evening.
