[The Galactic Building is certainly one of the odder places to spend some time at, but it seems to be what some have agreed to do. It'll be interesting, if nothing else; a place that originally served to remind them of how far they were from home, being a place they willingly stayed at? It was almost unthinkable, but here we are.

Once the ordeal is finished, Camilla and Ignis are once again off into the kitchen; a long day like this deserves some good meals to go along with it. The stuff they have to work with is certainly...interesting, if nothing else; hopefully nobody minds eating vegetarian tonight, because that seems to be what the menu is comprised of tonight. Hopefully nobody minds eating their vegetables!

I-...don't know if I can muster an argument in favor of things like tradition anymore. Not when...perhaps the kingdom's held to ours a little too rigidly for just a bit too long.

Well, you don't have to decide right away. You've got options - not immediately, but after all this is over. I've heard people talking about settling down here, or going home with somebody else...

Long time before that'll happen, though.

We have a world to rebuild. Even if I didn't already want to return home, neither Noctis nor myself can leave our friends behind. I've already offered Camilla a place with us as well, if she decides to take it.

Return to Eos with Noctis and repair the world he's already saved. That much isn't in question. It's what I do about myself that is.

Gonna be rough getting out from under that while...completely not doing that. But no, I get it. You can't just walk away.

You know, probably. [He answered with a small, tired laugh.] All of mine are ones I adopted out of necessity to benefit Noctis--even cooking. It feels strange to consider picking something up solely for myself.

Don't misunderstand this. Whether I was obligated or not, I do genuinely care about him in more than merely my role as hand and advisor. I've no intention of leaving his side, it's merely that...all this has brought to light that perhaps I've been on the same self-destructive path as Saturn for too long.

Well, he's certainly no Cyrus. I'm sure he would want you to have some things for yourself, too.

Did you like playing the violin? I get it makes you look refined, or whatever, but was it fun?

I don't know--it seems like a lifetime ago. Presumably I found it satisfactory at worst, else I'd have chosen a different instrument.

Michael, I can count the steps to the kitchen knives and my accuracy in thrown weapons is perfectly fine without benefit of sight.

Okay, okay. How about something fun you've picked up here? It's been a pretty different experience for us all.

I can't say I've picked up much of anything at all. Combat training is normal enough for me, as is research. Past that we've not had time or opportunity for much else.

No growing interest in animal husbandry?

[Pokemon training, the one hobby we all now have?]

A bit more than before, but I don't think I'm cut out to be this world's equivalent of a chocobo rancher.

Is that something you'd want? Or do you have more fun developing new skills? I've always preferred a challenge, personally, but that's screwed me over before.

I'll confess I've always been something of a perfectionist. Not that I'm against the occasional challenge, but I find things like failure highly frustrating.

Or what about some kind of craft? You do have a world to rebuild. Maybe you could take up carpentry or...I don't know, learn to knit? Coming away with a good finished product is always satisfying..
