Discussion.
RECOMMENDATION. Those of you who stayed in the base last night will be left free of any Galactic interference; the grunts still seem largely too blank to care much about your presence, and it seems Saturn has given them orders to leave you alone - once in a while he kind of shoos them out of your general presence unless you tell him to stop, solely because he doesn't want to just have them standing there staring at you. However, there's one matter of business that he'll call you all into that lounge area for; nothing too terrible, just...something of a quick discussion. "I had to get in contact with Master Cyrus last night - not to inform him of anything you've done, or even notify him of your presence, but more because I imagined he would notice that the flow of time had been restarted and not driven to a halt again. I ensured he wouldn't come here in person, but just in case, you might not want to stay here more than another day or so. "Since you still aren't completely familiar with the area, I would suggest Hearthome City - it's far enough away from here that you won't be troubled with Team Galactic business, and we don't have any bases there despite the size of the city. Besides, I think it has a few things there that several of you would like. "I'd recommend going there and taking your time in leaving. I don't foresee there being a problem, but you never know." He pauses for a moment before kind of. Shifting a bit. "I still plan on being here for the next while at least; if you need to contact me, you can reach me here. For the time being, I've unlocked one of the warehouses for you; you should be able to find a crate with some of your belongings in them. Take them as you see fit." And that seems to be the end of it; feel free to spend the day here, but you might not want to stay any longer than that. [OOC: Welcome to the start of Week 18! We hope you're enjoying your weekend; the crate in the warehouse will contain one of your regains that you submitted in your app. Have fun! No NPC response will be given to this post, though you can thread here amongst yourselves if you wish; we'll see you tomorrow at noon with a new log for your further adventures!] |

[Sena fidgets a bit.]
He didn't ever really seem to have his full heart into what he was doing...so the thought of having to...to fight him to the death or something, it never really occurred to me. The other two, though...
[Sena looks slightly guilty admitting this, but Kayneth's already admitted to not being as concerned over Saturn.]
I'm worried about them... [He hesitates, then decides to correct his previous statement.] About Jupiter, I mean.

[He stresses the word "convince" oddly, and it's pretty apparent that he doesn't think that Cyrus is the type to wheedle and whinge at someone to do what he wants.]
I just...don't want anything to change between us, you know...?
[Ah. He's thinking in terms of rivalry. It's an odd angle to come at, and his slightly guilty expression shows that hes's aware of that.]
I know it's a little selfish, saying that kinda thing, but...

No, that makes sense. You seem like the sort to take promises like that seriously, so I can't say I blame you for it.
...
In truth, I'm mostly hoping we won't have to harm Mars too badly simply because she reminds me of someone, so I really have no room to judge.

A promise...yeah, I guess you could call it that...
[And then a small smile crosses his face when Kayneth admits to worrying over Mars.]
I don't think that makes you any less selfish than me.

[...god, it's hard to figure out how he actually feels about this...]
I guess we're actually competent.

he's not sure if you actually think this is a good thing or not, but the words are a good thing?]
...We'll keep going.
[Until they make it back home. They have to.]
Worrying about how we did in the past, now that it's behind us, um...We shouldn't let it hold us back, right? What's important is that we made it, and we'll keep on making it...a-at least, I think so.
