Week 18.
WEEK 18 Hearthome City isn't the farthest distance away that you've traveled, but it seems that Saturn was right in telling you that it would be a good distance away from Veilstone; surrounded by forest and with the massive shadow of Mount Coronet spreading from the west, it manages to feel both massive and secluded. As usual, there's a good amount to look at, and more than enough to keep you busy; now that the flow of time has been restarted, it may feel almost like there's not enough hours in the day. Of course, that's not the only thing that's changed lately; despite the fact that there's been another one of those setbacks, it seems that overall, you've done something for the world. There's a lot more to be done, of course, but any signs of progress are good signs. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: PLAINS/FOREST MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week eighteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

[He nods pridefully -- believing that 100%, even if he can't see that gem stuck to his face. He's sure it'd look good on him no matter what.
Glad the topic of how well he looks was agreed, he gets to the entrance of the building]
Kazuma, get over here! There's something you have to see!
[The nuances of the call are lost because all Kiryu hears is his bear growling from a building. Still, that's unusual, so he approaches nonetheless and is brought inside. Heeeeey]

But as soon as Kiryu steps through the doors, Audhulma vanishes in a streak of light, reappearing right by Kiryu's face to press the gem in her hand against his cheek, and teleports back to the ground before gravity gets the chance to object about the whole thing.
She folds her hands neatly in front of her once she lands, looking from Daigo to Kiryu to Daigo again.]
That would have looked better a little leftwards, actually.

[Kiryu, just like Daigo before, touches the gem, more confused than anything else. He had just entered here and then he got a gem on his face. What in the world is happening here. Daigo looks rather smug, nudging Kiryu playfully. Kiryu looks between Audhulma and Daigo before finally turning to Daigo and asking:]
...this was your idea?
[Because apparently he wouldn't be surprised if Daigo went and got someone to glue gems onto Kiryu's face. Sorry, Audhulma]
...what?
[Daigo didn't expect that, he's shocked. Help!]

She teleports back to the floor in front of them both and folds her hands in front of her.]
Do they look even to you?
[As the emotions Pokémon, Audhulma can absolutely read the room. She just doesn't care. Thanks.</small.]

......
[He feels like he's being evaluated -- and he is, yup]
They're even. But just gems isn't enough.
[Daigo wants moooooore stuff]
no subject
[Daigo is a genius. Audhulma unquestioningly commits this to her personal moral code.]
There are all sorts of other things back this way. [She takes one step back, tilting her head towards the hall to the dressing room.] Capes, hats, jewelry. Bring him along.
[She'd better get back to her trainer, too, before Emmeryn inevitably comes looking for her...]

Daigo, I can walk by myself!
[That doesn't stop Daigo at all. Kiryu's going to receive his very own costume, and obviously, if Kiryu wanted, he'd step out anytime, yet he's still sticking around. That's his tacit approval, he figures]

Audhulma teleports into the room instead of making any effort to open the door for her less psychically-inclined companions, and even in the seconds it will take Daigo to get the door open and shove Kiryu through, she has started levitating accessories into Latona's waiting arms.]
Audhulma, what are you...
[......looks at kiryu]
...Good afternoon, Kiryu.
[looks at the sticky gems on his face]
Oh, goodness, I am so sorry.
[Without turning from her pile to look, Audhulma adds,] I think he needs something dramatic.

[Who knows for how long he's going to have to keep whatever props they keep putting on him, but he's aware his team will remember this for a long time once they see him.
Daigo likes the enthusiasm, although he does have a suggestion:]
Make him look tough. He's intimidating
[There's a reason Tough is a category in contests! And Daigo likes that of Kiryu]

[Audhulma, opting to ignore Emmeryn's dissatisfaction, teleports onto Latona's shoulder so she can shuffle through the accessory pile. She levitates forward a long, regal-looking cape in a brilliant red.]
Something like this? We'll try a heroic theme. [A pause, considering.] A sparkly hero.
no subject
[And he has tolerance for shenanigans, so this isn't something that unusual. Compared to stuff he has gone through, this is harmless!]
Perfect!
[You're going to look so heroic and sparkly, Kiryu]
no subject
[She feels a little better about the unholy amount of glitter and stickers on her, though, as Audhulma levitates the cape over to Daigo in an attempt to hand it off.]
You'll have to fasten it, he's too tall. Latona, where are the masks?
[Latona, long-suffering but acquiescing to these shenanigans, adjusts the pile so Audhulma can levitate three masks free at once; a bandit-style tie-back eye mask, a sparkling masquerade mask, and one made more for a comic book superhero.]
Your pick, then we find shiny things to match.
[Audhulma has really had her way with the supplies in here, hasn't she...]
They seem to be having such fun, at least.
no subject
[He does have an interest in accessories and likes to look neat. Good bear, Daigo, but at least ask first next time.
Kiryu tells the Pokemon]
Can I at least get the bandit-style mask?
I thought that one would fit him better, but if he asks for the other...
[Daigo wanted the superhero one. Oh well]
