[Ooogh. What to even say. Sena's here with his usual menagerie of Pokemon, some more active than most. He hesitantly raises a hand, like he's in class or something and needs permission to speak (he can't help it, Cynthia gives off that kind of authoritative aura and for the life of him he couldn't say why).]

...For that matter, is there anyone in the region with those sort of expertise? I would imagine that there has to be, unless humans themselves here are simply indestructible, but outside of those little kits...

Human experimentation isn't exactly smiled upon here; this isn't something we've seen people do before.

Setting aside the fact that we've never seen anyone try to implant something like this in a person before and so wouldn't be...too sure how to proceed, well... No? Why would we need to?

[we are sufficiently advanced that we can heal our pokémon wit sprays and weird pulsing lights

why in the world would we still need to just cut people open, that sounds terrible]

Well, obviously one of you figured it out, you can do it again. I could give you a few tips on certain aspects, but I'm no doctor.

Blunt as the wording is, Michael has a point. Removing it by force might be fatal. We don't know what an actual medical professional might be able to manage.

It's not like we'd know if anyone around here would know how to get rid of it.

Someone was able to implant it. It stands to reason that it can be removed, even if perhaps only by the same person.

How did he seem? Like the others, or...?

Saturn? No, he's...conscious, for lack of a better word. It's more as though the edge was taken off his emotions, rather than removing the sentiments themselves.

We spoke at some length--I'd not go so far as to say he's on our side, but he's less antagonistic than he was.
