Week 19.
WEEK 19 Despite the setback early Sunday morning, the physical trip to Solaceon Town is an easy one; it isn't a large distance from Hearthome City, though the town itself is so small it's a little blink-and-you'll-miss it. It's nice and temperate, though, with the ruins off to the east of the city and the houses of the townspeople nestled among the trees and fields; it's somewhat similar to Floaroma Town in feeling, and that's only amplified by the flowers near the daycare. The townspeople don't seem to know how they got there; they simply bloomed one day, bright patches of bright pink Gracideas along the fence. It's a reminder, perhaps, that you aren't alone, and your work isn't in vain. It seems the world is slowly starting to get back on its feet, too; it's a slow process, but there are changes you can see here and there, however slight. You have a lot of work ahead of you, but there's a lot that's behind you now, too; maybe it's just a matter of continuing to try. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nineteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

[Camilla's words are a little more worried at that, and he'll likely hear her starting to get up at that. She's not quite moving, yet, but there's definite urgency behind her actions.]
...But if there is a possibility that he's still here, that is worth keeping going for. Is it not? Cyrus could have very well seen use in those we've lost, and brought them under his thrall once more. It's something I truly wouldn't put past the man.
[She takes a tentative step closer.]
...Take whatever time you must to be angry, to grieve; I would not ask you to hold yourself back on such things. But if this possibility does exist, it is still worth fighting for.
...And if it does not, I will accept your reprimand, post-haste.

[He lowered his hands after a moment longer, slight tilt of his head he only indication he heard Camilla's movement.]
...It's not you I'll be angry with, should that happen.
no subject
[Another tentative step.]
I know; you would be far angrier with yourself, in any case.
[She wishes he wouldn't be, really, but it's clear things haven't gone well a day in his life.]

...What would your retainers do, if you were to die to protect your kingdom?
[It was a personal question and he knew it, but it left him all the same.]

It's a minefield and a half, and it's one of the many times that Camilla's honestly thankful that he couldn't see her face--she already had enough guilt about leaving them behind in the wake of all of this, but while it takes her a moment to get her bearings...]
...Selena would likely be better off than Beruka, I wager; Selena would certainly be angry, and would see it as a failing, but she would likely disappear just the way that she came. Like a whirlwind into our lives, and then gone again.
Beruka, though...Beruka was an assassin. It really was only thanks to me that she was able to get out of there...I don't know if she would know what to do but go back to all of that. I don't truly even know what she could be feeling, since she bottles her emotions so much.
[...It'd be a mess, basically, is what she's saying.]

[A pause, and then he offered the same in exchange; it was only fair, after all.]
Gladio's family...they're like mine. The Amicitias have been sworn shields to the king for generations; their bodyguards and first lines of defense. And Prompto, he...with us is the only place he's ever been able to feel he's belonged, I think.
All of us knew what we were getting into the night things ended. But I don't know if any of us can truly carry on in a world without Noct in it.

[Camilla's more than content to shove that aside so she doesn't have to think about that.
...Even so, yeah, that...makes a lot of sense, really. Gods.]
Without Noctis, it's as if there's a hole in all of your hearts. Both out of duty, and out of the friendship you all share. He's what brought you all together, and who you all have been devoted to...without him, I can see why the world would be so much colder.
[...Camilla's actually going to take a few steps closer and take a seat again--not too close, but mostly to just kind of be there for him.]
...Moving on would never be easy. It would be like our own family, attempting to move on from Corrin leaving us; something we never truly did manage to do. [...] I wish I could offer more counsel on such a thing, truly.
no subject
No--it's alright. I don't expect anyone would know much of what to do about it. That isn't your fault.

[...]
If you'll allow me, may I see your hand and leg, Ignis?
[She's still got some stuff in her bag, at least, and it's likely gonna bruise if it isn't taken care of.]
no subject
...Apologies. Usually Gladio's the one with the short fuse and difficult temper.
no subject
Apology accepted. It's better than seeing you hold all of that inside and being liable to explode.
[Camilla is at least careful when she takes out the gauze, wrapping it up around the problems spots pretty securely--Camilla's not inexperienced with in-combat injuries, at the very least, even if a staff or vulnerary would be more useful. It's easy enough to get everything secured and tied off so that way he'll be able to keep moving, but cautiously.]
Now be very careful, Ignis; you did manage to scrape your shin, so you will want to avoid agitating the injury much further. I'd keep of your knuckles just a touch as well, so you don't break anything. If it starts hurting unbearably, I would advise you to rest at the Pokemon Center for a while so it has a chance to heal; if you can't get there, for whatever reason, feel free to send Hemera to get me. I should be over toward the Daycare for the time we spend here.
[...gods, she feels like a nag. But it's coming from a place of concern, at the very least.]

I'm hardly a stranger to incidental injury. It shouldn't pose a problem.

...But you presume correctly regardless.
