Week 19.
WEEK 19 Despite the setback early Sunday morning, the physical trip to Solaceon Town is an easy one; it isn't a large distance from Hearthome City, though the town itself is so small it's a little blink-and-you'll-miss it. It's nice and temperate, though, with the ruins off to the east of the city and the houses of the townspeople nestled among the trees and fields; it's somewhat similar to Floaroma Town in feeling, and that's only amplified by the flowers near the daycare. The townspeople don't seem to know how they got there; they simply bloomed one day, bright patches of bright pink Gracideas along the fence. It's a reminder, perhaps, that you aren't alone, and your work isn't in vain. It seems the world is slowly starting to get back on its feet, too; it's a slow process, but there are changes you can see here and there, however slight. You have a lot of work ahead of you, but there's a lot that's behind you now, too; maybe it's just a matter of continuing to try. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nineteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

Oh, this? [Camilla's expression suddenly gets utterly enthusiastic.] We're making wonderfully warm little swaddles for these eggs! They deserve to have something entirely their own when they finally hatch--it'll be a nice little baby blankie for them!
[...She has taken on a baby-talking tone, dear god she is getting way too into this.]
These precious darlings only deserve the very best, after all!
no subject
You know they might just be sludge monsters?
no subject
Michael, even sludge monsters need some sort of love! They don't get to choose what they're born as.
no subject
What I'm saying is that sludge monsters can't wear baby blankies. They'd ruin them.
no subject
Well, there should be something done for them. The poor darlings do need some sort of affection...it would be quite rude to simply leave them with nothing.
[siiiighs]
Do you have any suggestions, then?
no subject
No. I mean, I just put Lena's egg in my bag and didn't do anything with it. And she's fine!
no subject
[Hmm...]
Or attempted. But I suppose we'll know for sure if it was simply Azelf's intervention, if none of this properly works.
no subject
[He picks up an egg, lifting it to the light as if trying to see through it. Then he sort of holds it to his ear for a second.]
I don't get these. If they just sat in there for longer than they were supposed to, wouldn't they die?
no subject
[Camilla is going to take a look at said egg, contemplating it a bit.]
Perhaps there's something in the shell that prevents such a thing from happening? One of the gods blessings, or something like that.
no subject
[They could crack one open and have a look. But that doesn't seem like an idea that would go over well.]
Do we know if the Pokemon are still breeding? Or are these just left over? Gotta say, that seems like way more physical activity than they could manage right now.
no subject
[...Which does. Not bode well, likely.]
no subject
[what on earth does Pokemon matchmaking consist of and also why?]
no subject
[so is now a good time to admit that animal husbandry is usually the job of the servants, or]
no subject
[He's not exactly well-versed in it either, though he's pretty sure that's not how it goes.]
no subject
[She has no idea what she's doing, let's be honest with ourselves.]
no subject
[here he fucking goes out the door! you coming?]
no subject
It's surprisingly basic, at the very least, and it...honestly, it's a little silly because all of the Pokemon seem to be seated in duos, with some poffins between all of them. They don't look like they're doing much, but Altena's walking around and meowing at them a bit and.
...This seems to basically be speed-dating???]
...Oh. Oh dear gods...
[SHE WASN'T. QUITE EXPECTING ALTENA TO GET CREATIVE WITH THIS?]
no subject
no subject
[SHE. SHE IS NOT SURE JUST HOW THIS HAPPENED???]
Really, I think this is all Altena's idea.
no subject
[Just. Look at them.]
