[So. In a word, this whole confrontation could very well be described as a travesty. Between finding out a good deal about Cyrus, which could be described as their objective, and finding out everything about Dawn, it's been generally bad. This day is honestly about as canceled as Sunyshore City itself, and considering the state of the city...well, that's pretty damn canceled.

The beach is probably the last place anyone really wants to go, considering the weather, but it's there and at the very least, it's quiet. It's not much of a party, all considered, but at least they're not all cramped in the lighthouse. For whatever it's worth.

May as well rest before they go in another direction tomorrow; everyone's liable to be weary after today.]

[Camilla does hand the skewer back to Zelda just for a moment as she rushes off and back over to her bags--it only takes her a moment to pull a couple out, before scooting on back to Zelda with a smile and presenting them to her.]

Here you are! I still have a few left; after making poffins, I was almost certain that I'd run low, but I made less sweet ones than I had anticipated.

[ It gives Zelda a few more moments to anticipate what, if anything, she wants to say. It feels like she hasn't been talking as much with people in the last while, only to be blindsided by this. Researching. Moping about the loss of Aya or Rin or the others. Being confronted by some terrible truth or another. Frustrated about Saturn.

It's all... weighty, but it's not weighty in a way with a defined solution. She rotates but the skewer she gave Camilla and the one she had been manning before the other comes back, but when she does, she looks deeply appreciative as she takes them. ]

Oh by the goddesses, thank you, Camilla. [ She needs the natural sugar. She won't just bite into them though, she does get out a knife to slide them. ]

[Camilla will go back to the skewer while Zelda does that, though, smiling at least somewhat. It's nice that she's enjoying herself, at least; it means she's doing something good, for once.]

Decides in that moment to not be so direct. She hums a little, taking a piece to her mouth, putting it in, and she chews a long moment before swallowing, shivering with delight. And she exhales, beginning with, ]

[Camilla tilts her head a bit, shaking it after a moment.]

It doesn't ring a bell, I'm afraid. It must be something rather powerful if it's from the goddesses, I take it...?

[Go on and nerd at her, Zelda.]

It is. ... The Triforce is the most potent magic in Hyrule, a divine object whose power is unrivaled - as long as it persists, and as long as good people hold it in their hands, the salvation of Hyrule is assured. For whoever holds it may have their heart's wish granted.

[...Hm. Camilla listens, to her credit; it sounds like quite a divine thing, though they don't have such a powerful item in Fateslandia. It wasn't like the sacred weapons.]

...In the hands of an evil or selfish person, it would bring ruin to the world, then. Which is why only those who are good should be the ones in control of such an item. Correct..?

[That's definitely what she gets out of that.]

Yes. The power of the Triforce could bring ruin to the world, or it... well, it could be the world itself. [ She could go into how Ganon did claim it for a time but- that's besides the point she was going to make. A beat ] But it has another protection to it, something that it demands from those who would use it. Those who would reach for the golden triangles must also be balanced the virtues of the goddesses that they represented: Wisdom, Courage, and Power.

[...Huh. That is actually a curious thing.]

What would happen to anyone who was lacking, if they intended to reach for them? I imagine it could be deeply unpleasant for the one involved, if the Triforce found them lacking.

Then the power shall split. To those most deserving of each virtue, they shall inherit a piece of the Triforce each. The power could only be restored when all three were united again.

[...Oh, geez. That sounds like a mess.]

...That sounds like a true mess to deal with, and why most shouldn't dare meddle in the affairs of such an object. Are the pieces together now, sweetheart?

They are, yes. They have been for ... well, for as long as our recorded history goes, though we certainly can say there was a legendary time before then... but I digress. What I truly wished to convey was the lesson that teaches. About the need for balance in a person. To hold in fair measure power, wisdom, and courage.

[...Somehow, Camilla feels like she should have expected this much. It...okay, she sighs a bit and tries to kind of focus on the cooking for a moment before turning back to Zelda. The smile she gives is...strained, but still warm.]

[ She frowns a little, looking into the flames. She searches for more words and... ]

[She actually seems a little concerned when she asks that. Guilty, perhaps even.]

Perhaps somewhat, [ she confesses, but then searching more for her words she ends u producing... ] It may be more accurate to say that I was... I am concerned for you. It is a foolish concern, but one I cannot shake.
