Week 26.

WEEK 26 The longer you remain on Spear Pillar, the more rejuvenated you feel. It's something in the very foundation of the place, everything from the ruins to the soft winds coursing through them, replenishing strength that may have been lost and fortitude that may have been shaken. There's peace to be found here, strange though it is given the task that lies before you. As the world continues to change below you, it may be for the best to remain there for a couple of days; the Hall of Origin isn't going anywhere, after all, and you could definitely use the rest now that you're actually experiencing it. On Tuesday, however... Well, we'll see what that brings then, won't we. It's been a while, Saturn.

[He's a little surprised seeing them here, considering the place.]

It has.

[He seems pretty okay, though, all things considered. Him being here is probably not the greatest sign considering we wanted him away from Cyrus, but you know what, here he is anyway.]

[semistableman]

[I mean.

Bucky absolutely wants him away from Cyrus but he still was kind of expecting it.]

You doing all right?

[azumods]

As well as can be expected, yes.

[...So that's kind of not a yes but it's not a no either. He's just kinda doing his thing for now, honestly.]

You all seem well. I imagine Spear Pillar was good for you...?

[semistableman]

[Yeah that's the kind of non-answer Bucky would use himself.]

Something like that. The Pokemon got a big kick out of it.

[azumods]

I don't go there often myself. But it does feel nice being up there. I'm not certain I'd say it's worth the trip, but it does make up for itself at least.

[...He really doesn't like being outside.]

[semistableman]

[He's talking to a man who lives on a farm.]

Honestly, I thought it was pretty. Very different from anything I've seen before.

[azumods]

Well, I can agree with that much. It would be disappointing otherwise, though... It is where the world was created.

[semistableman]

That's true. It's impressive; in my world, discussions of the creation of the world are a lot more metaphorical than they are literal. To be honest it's been fascinating.

[azumods]

Surely it had to come into being somehow...?

[I mean, it's there, right, why would any discussion of it be metaphorical...]

[semistableman]

I'm not a science guy but I think a bigass star exploded and all the debris from it eventually coalesced into the solar system.

[...sorry, saturn]

[azumods]

[...Huh.]

There was an egg that came into being from nothing; that's what the Creator hatched from. It then made the masters of time and space, and along with Giratina, they created the universe. The Lake Guardians were created after that, along with the ancestors of all Pokémon.

[semistableman]

Oh.

You know, I heard something about a theory of how the universe was created when I was a kid, something about energy appearing out of nothing that exploded. The solar system is just a tiny part of that.

I guess that's not completely different.

There are religions, of course, I grew up religious, and they all have different stories. But the gods in 'em aren't like the gods here.

[azumods]

You can't see them at all, right? You just have to believe they're there.

I still think that sounds really lonely, the idea of thinking you might be alone in the universe because you have no proof of the gods that made you. That's sort of depressing.

[semistableman]

Honestly, you're right. It is lonely.

Seems kind of strange looking for indirect evidence.

[azumods]

I suppose... It's just odd for me to think that maybe things just happened and then so did the world, when we have Pokémon that provide proof of everything - there are deities that made the land and sea and separated all of that from the sky, for example, but they don't reside in Sinnoh.

[semistableman]

There's something comforting about things having a concrete origin. So much of things in my own world are too vague for that.
