[Once Saturn had left, Ignis took a slow breath to steady himself before standing and speaking again.]

I think we have a fair amount of things to discuss, after that. But we'll also need to rest and recover here; We may be able to take it at Saturn's word that he won't alert Cyrus to us, but overstaying our welcome by more than a couple of days is unwise--that means we need to take advantage of this as much as we can.

[Strategy was easier. The words came naturally, and he was able to hold focus.]

If anyone needs me or wishes to assist, I'll be in the kitchen. I'm aware we just ate, but I presume we'll all be more comfortable if one of our own makes breakfast in the morning.

[In a sharp contrast, he sounded distracted now, focused largely on what he was doing--right now, running his hand along cabinet shelves to determine what ingredients he was working with.]

[ It does sound pretty obvious to him, but he peers over at him and then he comes on over. ]

So, let me know what you'll need and I can help you with that.

[ ...he doesn't know if he sounds distracted because of what happened or food, so. He'll ask. ]

I suppose what I need is an idea of where to even start--I usually cook for four, not twenty-four.

[A sigh.]

...I'm just a bit preoccupied.

We can make a lot of stew, with a lot of vegetables and stuff.

[ There's a start! ]

With what happened?

Hm--yes, I know at least one of us is a vegetarian, so we should be cautious about what we use.

...it's nothing. I'm fine.

[ventulus]

Then let's make it all vegetables.

[ Also he feels weird about the idea of meat being Pokemon here so he's just going to not while they are on this world.

He doesn't look convinced, but... ]

Okay. I know we don't know each other well, but if you need anything, I'm here.

[ And he doesn't mean just for cooking. He's fine at leaving it at that, though, and he'll begin to pick out some things. ]

That's kind of you. Really...I'm alright. What of yourself?

[ventulus]

I'm okay.

[ For his credit, Ventus doesn't seem to hesitate in answering, but he's turned so he's also not facing Ignis right now. Though, there's a pause as he considers to add onto that, maybe. ]

There's a lot to think about...but I know everything will wind up alright.

I believe that it will too, ultimately. However, that doesn't mean getting there will be easy by any means. I only hope we're all up to the challenge.

[ventulus]

[ There's another pause on his end, and then the blond turns to face Ignis, a slight smile on his face. ]

Well, I think we are. I know it might be hard too, but as long as we make sure to stick together and help each other out when we need it, we'll all be strong enough to rise up to the challenge.

[ He then looks back at the assembled ingredients on his end -- Aqua and Terra would be proud -- and he looks satisfied at that. ]
