VALOR Your arrival at Lake Valor is met with no fanfare at all, nor are there any obstructions; it seems that Team Galactic has moved on from here, the area devoid of activity and strangely-dressed people for the time being. The area is also largely devoid of water. There's some, in the area that presumably was the lake once; however, it can hardly be called a proper lake now. There's a massive crater in the middle of the clearing that that now-unobstructed path through the woods takes you to; it's refilled some since whatever incident caused it, but the water is only about knee-high at the deepest and generally incapable of impeding you much if you should choose to wade into it. Whatever you choose to do, there's a massive, raised area in the middle of what's left of the lake, a rock formation of some sort; it's capable of being scaled with reasonably little difficulty. An opening is visible in the rock face, large and gaping, leading inwards and downwards into a cavern system of some sort. Your exploration starts now; time to see if there really is nothing worth reporting in the area.

[The Spiritomb listen to that and their lights blink a bit with no clear "yes" or "no" designation. The one you've been talking to eventually flashes its lights yes though it's sort of hesitant, like it's not really sure how to react.]

[ It's okay, she knows that words... can't as easily convey all of this. Zelda steps forward, and she smiles, crossing her hands together, ]

I will stand against Cyrus, and we wish to see the world restored. I believe that seeing the lake guardian shall be an important step. I would very much like to meet them.

[That doesn't really get a solid response. There's a lot of lights flashing, both on the one she's been talking to and the ones nearby as they communicate. There isn't a solid yes or no answer to that, though.]

We will respect your wishes, [ Or well, she can't speak for everyone. She blushes a little and then puts her hands back in the prayer pose. ] ... But I would like the chance for an audience. To know more about this world, and to help the people in it.

[Once again, that doesn't get a solid answer. There's a lot of flashing lights, but they don't seem to know how to respond.]

[ I mean, she'll wait to see if there's some sort of consensus for a bit, but if there doesn't seem to be, she'll nod and, ]

My name is Zelda. Sorry for not saying so, earlier.

[azumods]

[More flashing lights that eventually settle on yes. They're. They're trying.]

[hyruglyphics]

[ I mean, everyone else is going on doing their thing too. So...

While she does let this sit for a while, she eventually takes another few steps forward, confidently but sort of questioningly as well. ]

[azumods]

[Like before, they'll shrink back. They don't recoil as much this time, though. What now?]

[hyruglyphics]

[ Miphanus are you still... yeah, her Beldum is still beside her. And so Zelda will... uh. I mean, she doesn't know the proper procedure here, so she'll - this reminds her of the springs of courage and power and wisdom, what with the water. So she's gong to get down on her knees, also making herself more eye level with these things ]

Can you touch my spirit, somehow?

[They're still wary, but eventually they'll settle a bit. The question gets an answer: no.]

I see. ... I wonder had a greater connection to the spirits of the world, if only for a time. [ She sort of remains kneeling in the water ] I thought I might offer for you to assess my sincerity.

[azumods]

[That gets some more confused blinking. They aren't really sure what to do with that... Yes...? Maybe?]

[hyruglyphics]

[ ... ]

I can't offer too much more than be here with myself and Miphanus. But please, consider allowing us to pass.

[Once again, they don't seem to know how to respond. This time you don't even get a solid answer, though. They're communicating with each other, but as a whole the group seems undecided.]
