Test 1.
VALOR Your arrival at Lake Valor is met with no fanfare at all, nor are there any obstructions; it seems that Team Galactic has moved on from here, the area devoid of activity and strangely-dressed people for the time being. The area is also largely devoid of water. There's some, in the area that presumably was the lake once; however, it can hardly be called a proper lake now. There's a massive crater in the middle of the clearing that that now-unobstructed path through the woods takes you to; it's refilled some since whatever incident caused it, but the water is only about knee-high at the deepest and generally incapable of impeding you much if you should choose to wade into it. Whatever you choose to do, there's a massive, raised area in the middle of what's left of the lake, a rock formation of some sort; it's capable of being scaled with reasonably little difficulty. An opening is visible in the rock face, large and gaping, leading inwards and downwards into a cavern system of some sort. Your exploration starts now; time to see if there really is nothing worth reporting in the area. |

Monta is...well, he's a bit of a fast talker. A little hasty and impatient with his words, because they all come tumbling down faster than he can reign them in, punctuated with lots of monkey sound-effects. Something like yeah this stuff is super cool like when you get hurt like OUCH and then you spray this on like BAM and then it stings like OWWWW but then it doesn't hurt anymore like WOAH? WOAH. WAAOO.
...It's kind of a lot. Also a bit odd. Also Vee hasn't said anything and just seems like she's watching the whole thing with her usual blank stare. You wanna add anything there, lass?]

The overwhelming thought here is can you give us an example? It's not that they doubt Monta, they're just unfamiliar with potions.]

So you know how these berries make you feel better, right? Nom nom... These weird spray things they have are sorta like the berries? Except you don't eat them, they taste terrible. But they make you feel even better than when you eat this kind of berry.]

That's a pretty good argument, honestly. The Spiritomb consider for a moment before asking are you sure it'll help?]

See this? I got hurt really bad once, when it was just me and that girl over there exploring alone. But she gave me medicine like this with some other things, and I felt better.]

Speaking of, Monta's not enough of a thinker to come up with an example immediately, and when he can't come up with something right away, he just turns to Vee out of impatience, chattering at her. Go on, why don't you say something, Vee?
Vee blinks, stares at Monta, then looks back at the Spiritomb and yips something about these guys tackled me once and hurt my leg so i couldn't walk.
GREAT EXAMPLE. Monta looks totally mortified. that was totally an accident??? why are you saying this?
because the humans sprayed that stuff on my leg and then wrapped it and then i could walk. and then they gave me food and it was easy food so i kept following you.
It's. Much more straightforward than Monta, if a little, uh. Emotionless sounding. Also apparently Vee was only following them for free food and healthcare and doesn't know how she feels about that and doesn't care.
Great!]

(Monta adds more absolutely, it's totally gonna work 'cause it worked for us so why wouldn't it work, watch! Because Monta, slow down.)]
