[Under ordinary circumstances, Michael doesn’t have a ton of marketable skills. None that translate incredibly well to the human world, at least. But things seem to be changing in Eterna City - it’s caught in a transition period, with people who are somewhat interested in hobbies again, but not enough so that there’s a lot of competition in that market.
If there were, he might have just gone with the stealing plan. Lots less effort. But there’s more entertaining things he can probably get paid for!
So, an open area somewhere in the city has been commandeered, with a large sign set up reading DANCE LESSONS. Michael, all smiles and charm, has managed to woo a small group of people, enough to partner off evenly while he demonstrates with some random woman. Without a real partner, he can’t show off to the fullest extent, but he seems to be taking them through the basics of some kind of lively ballroom dance. Once he’s finished demonstrating, he gets someone else to take over with the woman and starts circling around to watch what his students are doing. It’s...well, it’s very obvious that they’re still without spirit, but some kind of effort might be happening?]
There, see? You could be much worse at this!
[He’s trying, too?
Later on, he’s flipped the sign around to repurpose it; it now reads TEAM DOUBLE TEAM. Michael’s now sitting in a chair nearby, leafing through some books, with all three of his Pokémon sprawled out around. He doesn’t look like he’s paying attention, but if any of the other off-worlders pass by, he’ll glance up and wave them over.]
Hey, come here a minute. This TM seems like it works on everything, I want to try it on all our Pokémon. You know how to use these yet?
[In the evening, he’ll be in the condo building, looking for an empty condo to crash in. There’s real beds here, he wants one.]
