[What an absolute ordeal all of that was.

Today was certainly one hell of a day, that's for sure; they've managed to take care of another Guardian and gain it's trust (or at the very least, something resembling it), they managed to find Candice and manage to...well, maybe not get her back in a state that's altogether wanted, but ensure they managed to get her at least into a place where she could possibly regain herself. It will likely be a process, as such things are, but they've done their best, and they should have no regrets.

The center is definitely going to be a welcome reprieve for all of their suffering, at the very least. The Kompot is certainly more than enough to likely get everyone warmed back up and in a stable condition, along with the copious amount of blankets the locals have provided. They've got the time to rest and get ready for their next adventure.

Rest well, ye merry band of travelers. You've earned it.]

[Well, that was a mess, but it turned out better than he thought it would, given all the corpses and whatnot. And anyway... after everything that happened, especially earlier with Candice's two Pokemon, he's going to treat Velasquez to literally anything he wants.

This results in him standing outside the Pokemon Center bundled up and holding some kompot to try and stay warm as he watches his Pokemon make yet another snow sculpture in the area outside the Pokemon Center, with Velasquez helming the project. It's an attempt at an Abomasnow, which is... nice, but god damn, it's cold. He's so glad they're leaving basically tomorrow. He's so done with snow. Whenever Velasquez finally finishes up and is sufficiently praised, he goes back inside the Pokemon Center to get his sleeping bag ready, and when he's settled, he begins writing notes rather than actually sleeping, since he's still a bit wired on some level.]

Ah... no, I'm just trying to take some notes on what we should look for when we get to Canalave, that's all.

Makes sense. So what've you got so far?

Well, Uxie told us we might be able to encounter Pokemon called Darkrai and Cressalia there, so I made note of those... with a note that Darkrai is far less likely to be helpful.

I also made a note to look into Regigigas, just so we have a better idea of how much they can help us, as well as the gods we're up against.

Yeah, if we're still nowhere near scratching Cyrus, we should probably find ways that we can get around that. He's gonna notice what we've been doing sooner or later.

I would be surprised if he hasn't noticed, honestly. He probably just doesn't consider us a viable threat at the moment given he's got at least three gods under his control.

True. I mean, all his underlings sure seem to know who we are. But wait, does that mean we have a target on us right now?

I imagine we're barely even on their radar at this point. They basically own the world, and we're just a few people who happen to... disagree with them.

I hope so, but you can never be too careful.

That's right. I don't know if they know about our encounters with Regigigas or our possible intentions to meet Cressalia and... perhaps Darkrai, so that might be a point in our favor.

[...Yeah, guess who is not staying the hell inside the center all this time. Spoilers, it's Camilla. She's...honestly kind of happy to wander a bit, but she catches sight of Velasquez's little project that he's working on, managing a smile.]

My, I didn't know you had such a talented partner.

I'm hoping he finds a new medium in warmer climates, but... well, I really shouldn't complain. I'm proud of how well he's developing in this area.

Well, there was that little beach down in Pastoria...perhaps if we find another one of those, you could see how well he takes to building with sand?

You know, that is true. Hopefully we'll be able to encounter another beach at some point so I can encourage him to try that out.

I'd love to see what your partner could make with it. It tends to be a little more workable than the likes of the frigid snow.

[Camilla chuckles a bit.]

What does he like to make? Anything in particular, or does he simply do as he pleases?

Well, I think certain snowfalls seem a bit more pliable, but it'd generally just be more pleasant for all parties involved.

Anyway... he's been doing snowmen, but he seems to be making a representation of one of Candice's Pokemon right now.

I wanted to give Velasquez a little something for... whatever he did when he and the other Pokemon were trying to negotiate with Candice's Pokemon, so I asked him what he wanted and he dragged me outside to make snowmen.
