[What an absolute ordeal all of that was.

Today was certainly one hell of a day, that's for sure; they've managed to take care of another Guardian and gain it's trust (or at the very least, something resembling it), they managed to find Candice and manage to...well, maybe not get her back in a state that's altogether wanted, but ensure they managed to get her at least into a place where she could possibly regain herself. It will likely be a process, as such things are, but they've done their best, and they should have no regrets.

The center is definitely going to be a welcome reprieve for all of their suffering, at the very least. The Kompot is certainly more than enough to likely get everyone warmed back up and in a stable condition, along with the copious amount of blankets the locals have provided. They've got the time to rest and get ready for their next adventure.

Rest well, ye merry band of travelers. You've earned it.]

Well...let's just say it was a team effort. I think it took all of us talking for Uxie to start letting us in.

...I can agree with that. I think we all managed to help it, in some manner; if it truly intends to leave, we may have it a touch easier when the time comes to meet Mesprit.

Oh, no. Azelf's..."friends", shall we say, gave us a lot more trouble than the creature itself. Well, that and Maylene...

But the creature itself was willing to work with us, once we got ourselves through it all. It...almost worries me, by comparison, I suppose?

Well... After seeing what happened back there, I don't doubt that we'll be able to reason with Mesprit. Somehow. [ somehow. ] Maybe it'll be a good thing, if things get progressively harder from here. We can't really afford to get too comfortable when we need to take down Cyrus.

...I suppose that is true, but if we have to see anything like that ever again, it'll be far too soon--I've seen enough of that at home.

I'm not unused to the idea that negotiations would be difficult. Really, I expect them to be, if we have little ability to fight here.

I just...I don't know if negotiations are going to work on Cyrus. I have a good feeling they won't.

That's why I suppose we need to play a part, for now. So that we are able to become strong enough to overcome him; it's really the only way I see this working out, short of doing something Cynthia won't like in the slightest.
