with knowledge comes great responsibility
[What an absolute ordeal all of that was.
Today was certainly one hell of a day, that's for sure; they've managed to take care of another Guardian and gain it's trust (or at the very least, something resembling it), they managed to find Candice and manage to...well, maybe not get her back in a state that's altogether wanted, but ensure they managed to get her at least into a place where she could possibly regain herself. It will likely be a process, as such things are, but they've done their best, and they should have no regrets.
The center is definitely going to be a welcome reprieve for all of their suffering, at the very least. The Kompot is certainly more than enough to likely get everyone warmed back up and in a stable condition, along with the copious amount of blankets the locals have provided. They've got the time to rest and get ready for their next adventure.
Rest well, ye merry band of travelers. You've earned it.]

That’s all? You don’t seem any better.

[Sena blinks oddly, like he's not completely focused.]
Like...it looks like you get better but you're not and if you get hit again while concussed you like. Die instantly.
[Yep. You can definitely tell he's a little out of it if he's saying something like this so nonchalantly...and with accompanying hand motions and sound effects. Boosh.]
So I'm supposed to rest until the headaches are gone or something like that?
no subject
I thought you weren't supposed to sleep, though.
no subject
Why wouldn't I be sleeping?

[But he sounds doubtful. Do they even have like, actual human doctors anywhere in Sinnoh? He hasn't seen a single hospital.]
That's fine. I'll keep an eye on it. [he'll just WATCH YOU SLEEP SENA]
no subject
[Bleary staredown.]
...How?
[Do you have demon wisdom to share. Are you gonna look into his head or something.
watching him sleep doesn't seem like something that even crosses his mind, Michael can practically see the visions of a demonic looking old man zapping a sleeping Sena's head with magic demon powers or something.]no subject
[Technically, this is true! He can't really do it right now, but he's only mentioned that loss of ability once or twice and he's sort of banking on Sena not remembering.
For some reason. Not lying about this would also have been a totally valid option. But this is what we're doing now.]
no subject
...Huh? I've got a dimension inside my head?
[That's weird. You're weird, Michael.]
no subject
[How would that even work]
Look, don't worry about it, I've got it handled. [gdi now he's gonna have to watch Sena sleep. Probably only for a little bit though; if he's gonna die because of it, he'd do it pretty fast, right?]
no subject
Then why'd you say that? What kinda dimension lets you see into someone's head or something? Is it a mental dimension? Or a dream one? A dream dimension would be...pretty weird...
[He knows his own dreams. They get...
They're something.
He forgot what point he was trying to make here. Everything's fuzzy.]

[I really hate that most of this is canon]
But I'm sure I could spot an incoming brain hemorrhage, or whatever it is that kills you.
no subject
[Incredible. Amazing. He still doesn't get it, but okay.]
So like a...body scan? [Weird.]
no subject
[It's fine? It's close enough.]
So, if I think you look like death is approaching, I'll wake you up. Deal?
no subject
[He says that a little too brightly for someone who should be half-conscious, honestly. That's rectified soon enough, because he furrows his brow, seemingly thinking about something.]
So, uh...if it doesn't work and I die, will I see you in hell later or something?
[...Definitely out of it.]
no subject
[He doesn't know what your Earth does, so this actually does seem like a nice thing to do to him. Being in hell with a demon friend is far better than being there without one.]
no subject
Sports manga are weird.]
Um...thanks, I think?
no subject
[Michael, at least, seems to think that's an appropriate response?]
