[Meeting odd-looking nonhumans was an average Wednesday for him already, so he actually nods understandingly. Apparently he’s already over finding a stranger in a cabin in the woods.]

Believe it or not, that’s actually an improvement. They’re paying attention even if they’re not doing much.
