Arrival.
GREETINGS. Several days through the woods seems to have at least been preferable than several days through snow; it's seen several evolutions, as well as new friends joining you along the way. It's been a long trip, but not an altogether unpleasant one, and when the route through the forest finally opens up back onto open road, it's a relatively short walk to Floaroma Town. This place is much smaller than any of the cities you've been to so for; it's a tiny town in the relative middle of nowhere, surrounded by vast fields of flowers and large, open meadows. It's peaceful, for lack of a better word, and likely far more welcoming than it could have been given the recent improvements in the people lately. You'll be getting in sometime late afternoon; given that the town is so small, it seems that the people here are definitely noticing you - there are a fairly large number of you in your group, after all, especially to all be traveling together. Not like that's a bad thing; they certainly don't seem to think it is. But it is noticeable, and as such you're going to have a few people that seem...dully interested in your sudden appearance. Although it's worth noticing that not all of the people noticing your arrival are locals - there's someone here that you might want to meet eventually... [OOC: Welcome to the end of Week 9! I can’t really tell you that traveling with us is going to be entirely easy. Or non-fatal. But I think it’s best for all of us to stick together. We’re very much in the same boat.

Knowing that I'm not alone makes the thought of going back to being alone a lot less appealing. No matter how much trouble it ends up being.

Yeah. Almost died a couple times, met a girl who'd got all her memories wiped by a god. She's not here, we left her with the people up there, but she couldn't even speak anymore. Can you imagine?

As well as she can be, I guess. The locals aren't the most there, still, but they can get started on teaching her how to speak and walk and all of that again. The basics.

W-well, besides all of that...you've really never had anyone in your group have anything like that happen to them, right? You've all been okay so far?

[Michael hesitates, and begins again.]
Sometimes people just sort of...vanish. We tried keeping a close watch when we first realized it was happening, but we still never saw where they went. Just turn around one morning and it'd be like they were never there at all.
It doesn't happen often. Definitely less now than before. But it's something to keep an eye on, if any one of us starts acting a little off.
