Arrival.
GREETINGS. Several days through the woods seems to have at least been preferable than several days through snow; it's seen several evolutions, as well as new friends joining you along the way. It's been a long trip, but not an altogether unpleasant one, and when the route through the forest finally opens up back onto open road, it's a relatively short walk to Floaroma Town. This place is much smaller than any of the cities you've been to so for; it's a tiny town in the relative middle of nowhere, surrounded by vast fields of flowers and large, open meadows. It's peaceful, for lack of a better word, and likely far more welcoming than it could have been given the recent improvements in the people lately. You'll be getting in sometime late afternoon; given that the town is so small, it seems that the people here are definitely noticing you - there are a fairly large number of you in your group, after all, especially to all be traveling together. Not like that's a bad thing; they certainly don't seem to think it is. But it is noticeable, and as such you're going to have a few people that seem...dully interested in your sudden appearance. Although it's worth noticing that not all of the people noticing your arrival are locals - there's someone here that you might want to meet eventually... [OOC: Welcome to the end of Week 9! As of this log, you'll be gaining a new party member; feel free to come say hello! No NPC response will be given to this post, though you can thread here amongst yourselves if you wish; we'll see you tomorrow at noon with a new log for your further adventures!] |

A group of misfits banded together to right wrongs. Everything is so familiar that he's wondering if he isn't just in some sort of exhaustion induced coma back at the Agency right now.]
I see...whatever you've been doing must have helped a little. These people weren't really talking all that much at first, but...they seem to be saying and doing more than they did when I first got here.

[Well this is the first he's heard of those...though maybe the townsfolk here didn't know, either. He doubts they would have had it in them to tell him if they did.]
So then...you're looking for the third one, right?

Ice huh? It's been pretty warm here, so that's a little surprising to hear.
[But Pokemon can cause strange affects on the environment, something he's only heard wind of so far.]
Looks like this town is just a detour for you, then.

[Aya shivers. It's not cold here, but the memories of that whole experience have stuck with her.]
You should come along with us.

[Hm. This...is not the first time he's been invited to join a group by complete strangers, though under completely different circumstances.
Though...are the circumstances that different, he wonders? The Agency worked tirelessly to help people...and these people were trying to help this world.
In the end, he's not entirely sure if it's the best idea, knowing how bad things follow him as they do.]
I...I don't want to impose on your group, or anything like that...I've mostly been staying in this town because I don't have anywhere else to go.

I guess it depends on what the others in your group think about it, right? The people here have been nice to me so I wouldn't mind too much staying longer if I had to, but...they're a little hard to talk to.

If we put things to a vote, most of the time, we would have someone being contrary just to be contrary. We haven't put anyone joining to a vote and I don't think we're going to start now.
no subject
In that case...how many have you had join you so far, Aya-chan?

I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I'm not the only one, if we've all been getting...basically kidnapped.
By the way, did you guys uh...wake up with one of these guys, too?
[He holds up his Wimpod, who looks sleepily at Aya.]
I haven't been able to find his owner or anything...and I'm not sure he'd leave me even if I wanted him to anyway.

[Aya smiles at that.]
Oh, yeah! Here, let me show you mine.
[She takes her Audino out of her ball.]
Say hi, Ichigo!
[She waves.]
I don't think he would leave you, no. You're his trainer.

[She's so cute??
Atsushi waves back, hello there.]
Oh, I uh- I guess I didn't introduce mine. This is Chazuke.
[Chazuke blinks slowly, his legs curling around Atsushi's hands. He's saying hello, despite looking lowkey like he wants to hide under Atsushi's shirt.]
That's what those other people called me, too, even though I've never really trained anything before.

[Aya waves, hi there!]
Hello, Chazuke. It's good to meet you.
I hadn't either, honestly. I associated 'training' with idol training and band practice, not, well. Yes.

[Looking at her, it makes sense. She's got both the personality, look, and energy to be one.]

[[And pose!]
Pastel✻Palettes' soft pink leader, Maruyama Aya!

That group name really does suit you, Aya-chan! I've never met an idol before now...
[He's never seen one either, but that's what happens when you're a poor orphan with no TV.]
