GREETINGS.

Several days through the woods seems to have at least been preferable than several days through snow; it's seen several evolutions, as well as new friends joining you along the way. It's been a long trip, but not an altogether unpleasant one, and when the route through the forest finally opens up back onto open road, it's a relatively short walk to Floaroma Town.

This place is much smaller than any of the cities you've been to so for; it's a tiny town in the relative middle of nowhere, surrounded by vast fields of flowers and large, open meadows. It's peaceful, for lack of a better word, and likely far more welcoming than it could have been given the recent improvements in the people lately.

You'll be getting in sometime late afternoon; given that the town is so small, it seems that the people here are definitely noticing you - there are a fairly large number of you in your group, after all, especially to all be traveling together. Not like that's a bad thing; they certainly don't seem to think it is. But it is noticeable, and as such you're going to have a few people that seem...dully interested in your sudden appearance.

Although it's worth noticing that not all of the people noticing your arrival are locals - there's someone here that you might want to meet eventually...

[The closely hovering Metang is enough to give Atushi pause, moreso than the elf-eared girl before him. There's a lot to take in, clearly, but if she's anything like the others...she'll be friendly.]

Actually? Better than I've been in a while, considering...I'm not from here, but the people in this town have been taking good care of me.

[Which is shocking, since he isn't at all used to that sort of treatment. He wonders, though, if it has something to do with the fact that he can't seem to reach his gift right now...usually it took a lot of emotional strain anyway, but even in trying...there was nothing. It was as if he was just. Normal, for once in his life.]

So that was why... [ He was approaching- huh. ] ... Then you're like the rest of us? I see!

[ Okay no, introduction. She offers a hand (which the Metang emulates with a claw, causing her to giggle and, ] Hello, my name is Zelda. And this is Miphanus.

[The offered hand surprises him a little, but after a pause he takes it with a sheepish sort of smile.]

It's good to meet you both. Zelda-chan...and Miphanus. I'm Atsushi, and this is Chazuke.

[Chazuke the Wimpod is here, though in considerably more subdued spirits than the rest. He's doing his best though and that's what matters.]

To be honest, I had no idea there was anyone else out there like me, so...it's almost a bit of a relief that you all showed up today.

[ -chan...? That said, she shakes her head and... uh. ]

Atsushi! I'm sorry that you were alone before now. And... ah, hello to you as well, Chazuke!

[ Miphanus, seeing that Zelda got the handshake? It'll beep at the bug. Hi. ]

[Ah...Chazuke would, but his arms are very small and very short, not to mention he has no real claws or fingers to speak of. In consolation, he'll just wiggle his feet at Miphanus a bit in greeting.]

Oh no, it's alright...it's not anyone's fault. Just some bad luck on my part.

[Which is something he's used to, so it's okay.]

It's lucky you and your group came by this way. I've been told I'm not the first non-local you've found out here.

[ she nods. She's not gotten to talk to the ghost lady yet, but she had been following with them. Miphanus though will float down closer and honestly beeps out some more greeting, trying to ask about!! the Wimpod!! it's curious.

That's true. I do worry now there might be other isolated groups in other parts of the region...

[Atsushi hadn't thought about that possibility until just now, but since Aya told him he's the fourth newcomer to appear...he can't help but wince while Chazuke presses his face up against Zelda's hand.]

If there are more out there...they won't be too hard to find, right? I mean, I stand out like a sore thumb here.

Yes, if we encounter them, it shall be no doubt easy to spot them.

[ Though that's only if they encounter them but...

[Four out of four found isn't bad. You know, assuming there have only ever been four, but they probably can't worry much about that now.]

So, um...have you been with the group since the beginning? Or, I guess...two months ago, if that's when most of you woke up here.

Yes, I have. I awoke with the others at the time.

[ She responds easily, nodding at the question. She gestures around the group wondering... no, it might not be best to single out who is more new. Huh. ]

I wonder...why some of us have been separated from the main group, I guess you'd call it. That is kind of strange, isn't it?

I... suppose. I can think of several possibilities. For example, it could be that some people were already deployed to the places that they were going to be, or that we arrived in this world at different times. [ She'd kind of been assuming the later, but she blinks a little and- ]

Actually, how long have you been here?

Me? I've been here for a little over a month now, I think it's been.

Does that include time before you gained awareness of yourself...? Or, well, spirit?

[He tilts his head, not quite understanding.]

I'm not...sure, to be honest. All I remember is waking up in one of those Galactic places, running away, ending up in Floaroma...and then staying there for a month until you guys showed up today.

[ A month... so that would roughly line up with when they met Keith and Noctis, when they dealt with Azelf? So he was awakened at that time but ended up here? How lonely... he brows knit together, but there's no much more she can theorize based on that, is there. Instead, she softly exhales and, ]

... You were quite skilled at running then, to have manage that alone.

I wouldn't give me too much credit...I actually ended up getting lost in the forest for a little while. I probably would still be stuck there if the townsfolk didn't find me and help me out.

[And it's thanks to this group that the people in Floaroma had the will at all to help him.]

And you should not sell yourself short. Galactic can sometimes seem not all that threatening, but their administrators truly are.

I'd believe it, for sure...do you think they're trying to find us right now?

No, actually. Based on our encounters with them so far, I should think they are aware of our actions, but not actively hunting us.

That's a little surprising, actually...maybe they just don't consider us a threat?

In a sense... it's also a little more complicated, but that is a part of it.

Guess the strength in numbers thing isn't as much of a threat when your numbers are as high as theirs.

[Atsushi sighs, rubbing the back of his neck.]

Mmmhm, and a difference in power to begin with. Our journey had been changing things, but things are still... tenuous.
