Arrival.
GREETINGS. Several days through the woods seems to have at least been preferable than several days through snow; it's seen several evolutions, as well as new friends joining you along the way. It's been a long trip, but not an altogether unpleasant one, and when the route through the forest finally opens up back onto open road, it's a relatively short walk to Floaroma Town. This place is much smaller than any of the cities you've been to so for; it's a tiny town in the relative middle of nowhere, surrounded by vast fields of flowers and large, open meadows. It's peaceful, for lack of a better word, and likely far more welcoming than it could have been given the recent improvements in the people lately. You'll be getting in sometime late afternoon; given that the town is so small, it seems that the people here are definitely noticing you - there are a fairly large number of you in your group, after all, especially to all be traveling together. Not like that's a bad thing; they certainly don't seem to think it is. But it is noticeable, and as such you're going to have a few people that seem...dully interested in your sudden appearance. Although it's worth noticing that not all of the people noticing your arrival are locals - there's someone here that you might want to meet eventually... [OOC: Welcome to the end of Week 9! As of this log, you'll be gaining a new party member; feel free to come say hello! No NPC response will be given to this post, though you can thread here amongst yourselves if you wish; we'll see you tomorrow at noon with a new log for your further adventures!] |

Team Galactic...
[He echoes the word like it's foreign, yet familiar to him at the same time, but he can't quite seem to recall anything about it. It's nervewracking, suddenly just not being able to remember.]
Yeah, I can imagine. It's not our world or anything- [He's pretty...sure?] -but the state it's in is...really sad.

We're working to make it better; it's a slow process, but nobody expressed a single thing, when we first got here. They showed no interest in anything, and just went about their lives in a mechanical manner without anything guiding them.
[...]
Would you like to help us?

Also god that is depressing.]
I guess that depends...do you think I might be useful to your group?
[It's clear to him after being here a month that he won't be getting back home any time soon. Dazai and no one else from the Agency came for him...so he really is lost. What good is it for him sitting on his hands in this town?
Don't worry about what you can't do. Worry about how you can make yourself useful.]

[Camilla's smile doesn't waver when she says that, and really, she doesn't seem perturbed either way.]
I'm quite certain that we wouldn't mind bringing you along with us, at all. If you're quite alright with it, of course.

He stands up a bit straighter, his expression tensing...but not in a bad way, entirely.]
Back home, I've been spending most of my time these days trying to help people. And a lot of the time, it doesn't feel like we make much of a difference...but I try anyway. If I can't go back any time soon, and there is something I could do here...I'd rather see to it that these people get to go back to their normal lives than sit around and do nothing.

That's so cute? Like, that determination is definitely something they could use here, but Camilla's eyes practically light up and it's a bit of an impulsive move on her part, but if she's not stopped, she is just. Gonna ruffle the shit out of this boy's hair? Holy shit.
Either way, though, she'll let out a chuckle.]
You are quite determined. That's good; you can't get anywhere in life without a little fire guiding you along!
[She likes him already!]
If that's your decision, dear, then please feel free to join us. We are working toward a common goal, after all, and there's plenty of safety in numbers.

He closes his eyes reflexively when she ruffles his hair. It happens so suddenly he doesn't think to prevent it, nor would he have even if he'd seen it coming. It leaves him with his already awful hair even more tousled than it usually is, leaving him looking as flustered as he feels.]
I, w-well-yeah!
[He laughs weakly, rubbing the back of his neck while keeping a hold on his Wimpod with his other hand not unlike someone clutching a football. Chazuke doesn't seem to mind much.]
If nothing else...I think sticking with you guys might be more helpful for me too, in the long run. Not that these people here haven't been good to me, of course.
[They're just uh........you know...]
