Arrival.

GREETINGS. Several days through the woods seems to have at least been preferable than several days through snow; it's seen several evolutions, as well as new friends joining you along the way. It's been a long trip, but not an altogether unpleasant one, and when the route through the forest finally opens up back onto open road, it's a relatively short walk to Floaroma Town. This place is much smaller than any of the cities you've been to so for; it's a tiny town in the relative middle of nowhere, surrounded by vast fields of flowers and large, open meadows. It's peaceful, for lack of a better word, and likely far more welcoming than it could have been given the recent improvements in the people lately. You'll be getting in sometime late afternoon; given that the town is so small, it seems that the people here are definitely noticing you - there are a fairly large number of you in your group, after all, especially to all be traveling together. Not like that's a bad thing; they certainly don't seem to think it is. But it is noticeable, and as such you're going to have a few people that seem...dully interested in your sudden appearance. Although it's worth noticing that not all of the people noticing your arrival are locals - there's someone here that you might want to meet eventually... [OOC: Welcome to the end of Week 9! [Atsushi's expression tenses a little when he notices the scarring, but he doesn't point it out.]

That's good. I know how much it sucks being followed.

[And that's putting it EXTREMELY lightly.]

I guess if they were looking for me they're doing a pretty bad job anyway since I haven't moved for a whole month, right?

[good news atsushi: he definitely did not see you do that!]

Potentially. Which means you're unlikely to have been tracked, so that's a good thing.

Thank goodness...I'd be really upset if I brought trouble to a town like this. These people don't deserve that.

Hm...you're right. I don't imagine we'll stay very long, lest we invite trouble like that.

[gekkaju]

[It's been pretty cushy staying here, all things considered...having a place to stay and being kept fed. But not doing anything after having a place at the Agency has been difficult. The thought of even the possibility of these people getting hurt on his behalf isn't one he can stomach.]

Sounds like I've more or less made up my mind, then.

[He glances down at his Wimpod, who looks back up at him for a long moment.]

If the rest of you don't mind having an extra member, that is.

You'd hardly be the first. I'm sure we'd all welcome you along.

[He smiled cheerfully,raising a gloved hand to pet the Swablu on his shoulder.]

Your partner--just out of curiosity, what is it?

To be honest with you, I...don't entirely know? I know he's called Wimpod, but...

[He exchanges a glance with his Wimpod, who looks back up at him like he's wondering if he's expecting him to do something.]

I dunno. He's like some sort of crab.

[discutio]

Hm...not a name I'm familiar with, but quite a lot of us have ones not native to this region as far as I know. You might have trouble finding much in-depth information on him, if that's the case.

That makes me feel a little better, I guess...I've been feeling pretty lost since I don't really know what much of anything is, yet.

[He's learned some things! He knows Pokemon are pretty much like gifted animals if he's using terms from home, and they can understand humans. But due to shenanigans things aren't the way they should be right now, which is why all the people and Pokemon are acting so odd.]

Oh, nothing to worry about there--we're all rather playing the whole situation by ear. What do you need catching up on right now?

Well...these Pokemon are gifted, right?

[Er-]

That is, uh...they have special abilities that other animals don't have. That's how some people are, where I'm from...I've never heard of animals being gifted, though.

[discutio]

That's right. I don't think I've heard of many people like that, at least not on average. Most of the animals where I'm from aren't like this, either.

[gekkaju]

[It's okay, Atsushi's home is just...weird. Weird and full of weird people, of which he happens to be.]

Yeah, the animal thing is new...I've seen a couple different ones in this town, but they haven't really been paying me or Chazuke much attention. I don't know what it's like anywhere else.
