Week 12.
WEEK 12 For the time being, it would seem that you're back on the routes again. Route 202 is thankfully a simple one - it's straightforward as compared to the winding paths of Eterna Forest, with a clearly marked path surrounded by trees. The usual patches of tall grass are present here, though they can be avoided if you really want to stay clear of them; it's a fair easier walk than most of the routes you've traversed so far, and mercifully it's also a far shorter one. It seems August is being kind to you in that way; there's decidedly less walking required of you, which is likely not all that unwelcome after the frozen hellscape that constituted most of July. As before, the changes to the world are still present, particularly in your own Pokรฉmon, are still occurring but seem to be slowing down a bit as the month continues on; a worrying trend, perhaps, but they haven't stopped altogether. That said, however, there's a change to the route that you may see from time to time - patches of those bright flowers in varying colors will show up along the routes themselves here and there. Perhaps a sign of gratitude from a friend you've helped out... By Tuesday morning you'll find yourself in Sandgem Town. It's very small, similar to Floaroma Town in size, and the town itself smells vividly of the saltwater of the ocean; the main points of interest seem to be the research lab and the beach to the south of town proper, though there are a few locals present as well. Your stay here shouldn't be long; you're actually very close to Lake Verity, and it won't take you long to reach it given how relatively simple and straightforward the routes here are. Thursday morning will see you on Route 201 - it's just as easy a walk as the previous route, if not easier, and if all goes well you should be able to find the lakefront by Friday evening... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES / NEAR WATER SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY [OOC: Welcome to week ten of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

That was not one of them. Camilla looks down at Ventus when he shouts up to her, definitely reconsidering her actions.]
If this silly little creature would simply give me back my belongings, I wouldn't have to be up here. Honestly! It's being so stubborn and rude!
[Drifloon, to it's credit, does not seem perturbed and stays just slightly out of reach.]

[ Ventus does not trust that poker face (?) one bit!! ]
Maybe you'll need to trick the Pokemon somehow to lure it away from going any higher up?
[ Is that possible, though, he wonders... ]
no subject
[She feels bad for asking, but if she jumps to try to catch this creature, it's gonna end miserably, she bets it.]

[ ...Actually, all of Ventus' Pokemon can fly.
Hmm, who should he pick...he decides that Togetic can try to settle this and he allows her out of her Pokeball with ease. ]
Aster, it looks like someone needs a little convincing to give Camilla back her things. Why don't you give it a try?
[ The Pokemon nods and flies right up over to the trouble making Pokemon. She asks Drifloon happily if she wants to play a little game of catch with her. Because clearly this is one attempt to trick or convince the trading of materials to happen... ]

[Camilla seems to be at least somewhat pleased with this, watching from her high perch on the tree.
Drifloon, to her credit, does seem to be amendable to going along with that! ...Though she's going to insist that Aster bring something with her, to, so they can both play the game properly. It wouldn't be fair otherwise, would it?]

[ Aster looks back at Ventus, who looks at a loss, before fishing around in his backpack for something. Oh it's a...small green ball he got at a store or something.
Listen, he may actually encourage some of his Pokemon to play catch with him. He hands it over to Aster, who waves it at Drifloon. She's got something! ]

Ready? On three!]

Aster starts to count down...1, 2, 3! And then she makes sure to toss it at the exact same time Drifloon does (or tries to, at any rate.) ]
no subject
And they're off! Drifloon tosses one of the knitting needles to Aster when she tosses the ball, catching the ball in her hand before waiting until Aster tosses again.]
no subject
...Ventus is not sure that's supposed to happen so he just mentally facepalms. Though it does give him an idea, and he begins to rummage in his pockets for something else too. It's another ball! Except it's yellow this time. ]
no subject
...Of course, Camilla sees the second ball and seems to smile a bit.]
Perhaps that will get her to unhand both of the needles?
no subject
Here Aster, take this!
[ Aster does take the ball when the blond does hand it to him and around this time she has both of the balls, so...she states to Drifloon that they should try doing two at once in their throwing game! ]
