Week 21.
WEEK 21 It's been a while since you were last in Eterna City. While it seems you've suffered another setback on Sunday morning, hopefully it won't completely break your morale; there have been many losses lately, but you have to keep going, especially once the state of things in Eterna City become more clear to you upon your arrival there. The city, for lack of a better word, seems torn - the buildings seem almost patchwork in places, having been torn apart at the seams and replaced with things that seem to have come from elsewhere and nowhere all at once. Parts of other buildings, parts of trees, parts of roads, even - stay in one spot long enough and you can see it happen. It isn't ripples or pulses, like it was with Dialga; this is violent, something sharp and harsh whipping through the air in a burst of energy, tearing through all inanimate objects in its path and replacing them with something that frankly shouldn't be there. Thankfully, the cause of this doesn't seem to be targeting you; it will leave you unharmed, though your Pokémon are definitely aware of it and the rending will cause them to flinch whenever it fires off, regardless of if it hits them or not. It's likely a stressful time for them - just as it is for the locals, who don't seem too willing to leave their homes at the moment... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: PLAINS/FOREST SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY [OOC: Welcome to week twenty-one of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

I'm sorry. I'm glad you guys tried something, at least.

[Michael seems discomfited as well, fiddling with a cufflink.]
Lotta people you never even met. And I've wondered if there were other people like you - woke up separately, didn't stick around long enough to be found
no subject
That would have been so lonely.
[And frightening? To just wake up somewhere strange for a while with no explanation, only to disappear again.]
You're right though...it's pretty much by chance that you guys found me, I think. I mean, I guess you would have come to Floaroma Town eventually anyway, but...I never would have known what was going on if you hadn't.

[He thinks about it for a second, then chuckles.]
It would have been lonely. But you would've probably been safer.

...it's not a hard question for Atsushi to answer, in the end.]
I'd rather be here with you all. I'm not sure I could have taken being the only person with spirit in town for more than a few more weeks.

I think the worst part is that I could like...tell that things were starting to get a little better? But I didn't know why.
And then knowing that Cyrus destroyed all of that later on...I probably would have been caught in the blast if I stayed.

[Hm. Don't like that.]
Saturn told us once that we were only here a short while before our conditioning wore off. Any of us who got caught up in it again might still have recovered faster than the natives.

You think it's because we're not from here?

You'd think in that case Cyrus would have thought twice before having us brought here in the first place.

[Ugh, he can relate and he hates it.]
Heck, maybe he thought we'd be easier prey. Not made by their gods, but most of us don't have any gods backing us up either, right?

You have a point...that's...that's a terrible thought. I'm really glad they never got away with anything like that.
