Test 10.
EXPANSION Once again, that sense of pressure radiates through the room, the sensation that comes with standing before something that no human was likely meant to be in the presence of; the pressure is immense, something that Mars doesn't seem at all inhibited by, and if it's bothering Jupiter any it isn't evident in her demeanor, either. The challenge they've issued remains in the air between you, ringing out strong as they watch you from their position across the room, gazes sharp and cold. Your Pokémon don't seem to be taking this terribly well, though that's likely to be expected; it's the same sort of pressure that came with Dialga's presence - even if it's not currently in the room, not currently visible, there's the sense that there's something waiting just beyond the metaphorical veil. Something that shouldn't be angered or tormented more than it has been already; something that was there when the world began, and something that was likewise there when the world ended. Once again, it seems you're you're on your own for the time being; while neither of the women waiting for you seem angry, per se, they still seem very, very charged. |

You know, Camilla and a few of the others have just come out of what may constitute as literal hell by this world's standards, and this. Is just icing on the cake, honestly. The true level of hell that she feels like she should have expected. Dear gods, this is a glowing glittery pile of yikes.
Camilla watches as Haar and Altena seem to hide behind Camilla's legs a bit, and honestly, she can hardly blame them. This is definitely one of their most frightening encounters yet.]
...We have been attempting to get into the habit of exercising caution, before we are to leap into such things. It would be hasty to run in so brazenly, after all.
[That just sounds like a one way ticket to 'do not pass go, space god unleashed and wreaking havoc'.
Camilla is doing everything to keep her tone very calm, though; after Saturn, she knows better than to expect this to go well and definitely to not be combative. She's not really addressing either of them, as much as the sentiment in the room, but she's...definitely not sure what on earth to say to this, and she knows it's bound to be a shitshow no matter who responds.]

[Ignis was, perhaps suiting his name, looking like he just walked through a literal fire. He and Hemera were both dusted with ash, and the former clearly very done with the matter at hand.]
I'm going to make this very simple for the pair of you. That chain I've no doubt is linked to the pair of you as it was with Saturn? Atop of being a monumentally bad decision to have taken upon yourselves, it's very likely to hurt you. Badly.
And this part may shock you, but we aren't interested in hurting either of you.

[Her tone is still deeply amused, though.]
It's been a while. I'm surprised you didn't die at Lake Acuity.

[And just like that, the previous impression is Gone. Great work, Sena.]

It has. Hey, kid.
[She shifts a bit; the smile she's got going on isn't nice, but it's something to do with her face.]

Flora's behavior is concerning, but he is doing his damnedest to make it not show on his face.]

And with the flash comes the burst, the sharp whip of energy coursing through the air and taking form, the long red chain coiling and uncoiling, snaking sinuously to wrap around Mar's body at the chest, crossing its way over her shoulders and around her back, not making contact with her body properly but hovering, the length of it glittering brightly and dragging with it a harsh increase in the pressure already permeating the room.
Mars' voice is equally sharp as it rings out across the room.]
Palkia, Master of Space - unleash your power for me!
[Suddenly, something in the air seems to tear, the sudden rending of reality itself happening directly in front of you, the black space opening up in the middle of the open air behind Mars and Jupiter both and filling the room with an overwhelming sense of incomprehension - the notion that you're looking at a miniscule fraction of something very, very vast.
Much like space itself.
And from that vast, empty void, something materializes, almost unfathomably massive and pale in coloration, covered in purple markings and bright iridescent crystals at its shoulders; the Red Chain is present here as well, long and shining where it's wrapped around the creature's body and hovering just above the skin.
It lands heavily, the abyss closing behind it as the weight of it shakes the room; the roar it lets out is highly agitated, angry, the sound entirely too loud for the room, reverberating through it long after the sound itself has stopped, and it brings with it another sharp increase in the feeling that the creature you're looking at is both ancient and immensely powerful.
It seems far more volatile than Dialga, just as Mars seems far moreso than Saturn did; the energy coursing through her body seems to be working her up again, intensely. Jupiter, on the other hand, just watches as all of this happens; her attention seems more focused on Mars than on Palkia, weirdly enough, but she definitely is keeping watch. She noticeably doesn't have any such chain occurring around her, and she remains silent for now as Mars shouts again.]
All right, that's enough talk - let's end this!

CONCLUSION.
The chains seem to have been rather unstable already; it's likely a good thing that you're breaking them when you are. When they snap it's almost alarmingly quickly, cracks into breaks into shattering crystal, and after a while Palkia can shake the chains off on its own, breaking the rest of them as it goes and ensuring they can't be used again. The pressure in the room spikes again, and while the anger hasn't exactly faded, it doesn't seem like it's going to rampage or destroy all of you, either; it glares, certainly, but it doesn't attempt to attack anyone. Rather it just...
...It will lean forward and attempt those muffins and cake Camilla and Morag are offering it, actually, because apparently it's not going to argue with food. Just...very gently picking them up in a manner that is obscenely delicate given that this thing is huge, such as not to, like. Maul anyone in the immediate vicinity. The pastries are also fine, thank you Ignis, and though it does not seem to comprehend the idea of frappucino it will at least look like it's considering it before making another one of those odd rumbling noises.
Said noise is followed immediately by another of those hellish shrieks; when it moves again it seems the very air moves with it, surging forward from its body and up over your heads, another of those tight whips of energy rending the area around you and coursing out of the building, shaking you to the very core as it goes. It may be difficult to say what's changed at first, but it's undeniable that something has; placing it, however, will reveal what can only really be a good thing.
The expansion of space has been restored.
And with that, the void in midair reopens, and before long Palkia has left you, and so has the pressure and the presence it exudes.]
