Yes, I'll meet you coming back when the universe has expanded
[Mars' chains had faded away as soon as the chains on Palkia had shattered, that unnatural red glow leaving her eyes; she doesn't stumble, to her credit, and seems to be trying to resist the urge to flinch or anything, but she's...not precisely looking too hot, either. Not like she's going to faint or anything, just like she's been through A Lot.
Jupiter is staying near her for the time being; ultimately, she's the one that addresses you.]
You guys can stay here if you want. Or don't, I don't care enough to insist. But we've got food and beds that probably beat the Center's, at least.
We'll be around, either way. Since I doubt you guys are just going to leave us alone after all that. Do what you want.
[OOC: Consider this a log to cover both any afterparty whatnot you want to get up to, as well as something to carry over into Sunday! Both Jupiter and Mars will be available for NPC threads on this particular log, should they be desired.]

Oh, wow. It's actually been a while since I actually had anything like this? I can't bake to save my life, and we're usually pretty big on the health stuff around here. I'm not about all the weird vegan shit Saturn's doing, but you get the idea.
[Like, they have the stuff to make it and all, but she usually doesn't? That said, she doesn't seem to be complaining at all, either, given how easily she accepts it.]
Thanks, though.

[she. she gets it, she cooked with the stuff in that base and dear gods, it was certainly something.
Either way, once the plate's out of her hand, Camilla doesn't really step out to leave; she does look to the door, knowing at least slightly that she probably should, but...]
Is there anything else I might be able to do for you, while I'm here?
no subject
[...]
You don't have to bail, you know, but I get it if you want to.
no subject
I wouldn't like to, actually. I was more considering whether you would be okay with any company, considering how far out you were and...
[...she trails off a bit, but she is going to sit a little ways away, then. Give Jupiter some space, but ensure that she's still there.]
...Well, if it's fine with you, I wouldn't mind staying.
no subject
She's kind of smiling to herself a bit as she picks at the tart, at least.]
Today was such a mess. But I'm fine with you sticking around for a while. It's been a while since we've had anyone to talk to that isn't each other.
no subject
It was, certainly; you'll receive little disagreement from me there. But it wasn't the worst one. Not by a long shot.
[Camilla does ease a little bit more into that, though.]
What do you two tend to talk about? [...] I suppose an obvious subject does come to mind, but Mars doesn't seem like a terrible conversation partner, really.
[She imagines that there's. Not really much to talk about, honestly, but she is curious about the two of them. They do seem like pretty good friends.]
no subject
[...hang on for a second, this tart is fucking fantastic - okay, anyway.]
Even so, I've had the base to take care of, and she tends to do a lot of field work. I like doing that too, but it means you don't really meet up too much as a result.
We usually just talk about plans and stuff, I guess. What's going to happen in the future, or about stuff that's not going according to plan and what we should do about it. We don't usually talk all that often, but we keep in touch pretty regularly. With Saturn, too, sometimes all three of us will catch up. Usually in Veilstone, because that boy does not like going outside if he doesn't have to.
no subject
And sometimes, you gotta put your differences aside because nobody wants to befriend the living dead.]
My, the two of you actually didn't get along? I'm honestly surprised, but I suppose I can understand that much. It's as you said. Really, I'm wondering just what you two disliked each other over.
[It's said lightly, at least.]
But that does make sense, all considered. You all have much work to do, and not a lot of time for one another. [...] Though, if you can forgive me for saying this much, I'm not surprised that Saturn rather likes to stay in his base. He seems like a rather withdrawn sort, in general.
[he is absolutely the kid who would stay inside with machines all year long and never have outside contact if he didn't have the two of you, dear god]
no subject
[It's gentle, though.]
You can say what you want about Saturn, it's not like I care. He does like to keep to himself, though. Out of all three of us, he's the most messed up over all of this. He tries to keep it from us, but it's pretty obvious that he's upset all the time. Or at least he used to be. Now he's just weird.
[Due to Red Chain whatnot.]
He's not that bad a guy, though. Master Cyrus has said that Saturn is the one who's going to be in charge of Team Galactic if anything ever happens to him.
no subject
I'm not surprised; before we set Dialga free, we wound up getting brought through time, and we were able to see a few things for ourselves. He...really did not seem very fond of the idea of increasing the power of the red chain; he did so, of course, but he was rather...
[Hmm.]
He was professional in a way that seemed far less like the way he usually tended to be. Almost distant, in a fashion.
I do believe you, however. [...] Truthfully, I regret not exactly being the most...friendly sort, to him. Especially compared to how the others have practically adopted him as a collective sibling. He really does seem like he'll do great things, if given the chance.
no subject
He's one of those people where you get along with him or you don't. Just kind of the way of things. I like him all right, though, as much as I like to pick on him - he makes it really easy.
If you guys are going to try to adopt him, though, you're probably going to have to pry him out of our cold dead hands.
[It's still light, though, and without the, uh. MURDER undertones, as Michael put it.]
no subject
Ah, I do suppose that is fair. It would be incredibly cruel, after all; I'll see if I can't inform the rest of them of such a thing, but I do make no promises. The lot of them are stubborn.
[It's gentle, at least, but she at least kind of gets it. Saturn is Their Territory and sometimes you just gotta respect that.]
He'll be happier with the two of you than with any of us, anyway.
no subject
You think so?
no subject
[Like, you lowkey kind of Mama Birded at the subject of him, but she'd rather not have this turn into a shouting match again, really.]
no subject
[She shrugs.]
Say what you want, it's not like I mind.
no subject
[Just saying.]
...In that case, yes, I do genuinely think that.

I only say this as a person with many siblings of my own, but that does seem rather close to it. He might exasperate you, perhaps, but he's still someone you care for at the end of the day.

But truly, I love them all the same. That makes it worthwhile.
