Yes, I'll meet you coming back when the universe has expanded
[Mars' chains had faded away as soon as the chains on Palkia had shattered, that unnatural red glow leaving her eyes; she doesn't stumble, to her credit, and seems to be trying to resist the urge to flinch or anything, but she's...not precisely looking too hot, either. Not like she's going to faint or anything, just like she's been through A Lot.
Jupiter is staying near her for the time being; ultimately, she's the one that addresses you.]
You guys can stay here if you want. Or don't, I don't care enough to insist. But we've got food and beds that probably beat the Center's, at least.
We'll be around, either way. Since I doubt you guys are just going to leave us alone after all that. Do what you want.
[OOC: Consider this a log to cover both any afterparty whatnot you want to get up to, as well as something to carry over into Sunday! Both Jupiter and Mars will be available for NPC threads on this particular log, should they be desired.]

jesus tittyfucking christ.
But do you think she's actually going to rest? For a single goddamn second? Absolutely not! So Saturday evening, as everyone settles in the Galactic Base, she sets to work fussing, making rounds all up and down the building. Manaphy's egg rests at her chest in a cloth sling like she's carrying around a human infant, the same one that kept Latona's egg and little unfeeling Heim before his evolution held close to her heart. Looking pensive? Looking tired? Sitting, standing, or otherwise existing near a flat surface? Enjoy your tea as Emmeryn sets it down beside you without preamble. Yes, she's going to find Mars and Jupiter to give them tea, too. Given that this has been her go-to jesus-fuck-did-that-happen post-event wind-down ritual for a little while, if you have a favorite, she probably remembers it!]
Here, I've brought a little something—It's still hot, be careful.
[Duma waddles behind her the whole time, trying to hide his face against her skirt even while she moves. Please never ever leave him that was so scary.
But exhaustion catches up to her as the evening goes on, and she needs to step out. One moment, only for a moment—of all places, she takes a short walk east, to Route 211, and sits in the grass, nearer to the cliff's edge than the city, but only, only barely. Latona sits beside her, and Emmeryn cannot help but lean against her; Duma sits at her other side, for once, not causing trouble, and Emmeryn keeps one arm over him. The egg sits snug in her lap.
Audhulma trills and dances about the place, always looking back to Emmeryn for her approval, knowing not to twirl too far out of reach. Less mindful, Heim zips through the air, up higher and higher, descending and looping and back again. He loop-de-loops forward, past her, towards the cliff's edge, and Emmeryn's breath catches, she starts to reach one arm out, his name catches in her throat, and—
He flies a little farther, flips and dips up and down, a little farther again, steady, steady. He's fine, just fine. He flutters closer to the opposite mountainside, across the bridge, and back again.
With a slow, shaky sigh, Emmeryn withdraws her arm, touches her fingertips to her chest, lightly. The sight of the night sky making even the short drop down over the cliff still makes her stomach churn, and the memories of a deity's despair don't know how to settle in her yet, but no stars have never looked lovelier.]

Jupiter might take a little bit of finding; it seems she's left Mars to herself for the time being, and while usually she tries to act in a way that's halfway befitting a commander - or at least someone who has her shit together - she's in one of the side rooms just...sitting on the floor off against the wall, legs drawn up to her chest and arms folded on top of her knees, head down.
She doesn't jump up or even try to act dignified when she hears Emmeryn come in, she just looks up and unfolds herself a bit, and she'll accept the tea easily enough, even if she'll look a bit bemused as to why this is happening in the first place.]
Pretty sure I don't do anything but yell at you.

Camilla looks over to Highwind with a finger in front of her lips, a gentle 'shh', and dips out for a moment--she winds up finding one of the beds in the building and nabbing a blanket from it, before coming back in and placing the blanket on top of him gently. He can take a rest; she'll take over for the time being.
He will more than likely hear her either way, though; she does her best to work somewhat softly, but whether he hears her working in the evening or in the morning, she'll definitely be there and cooking. Hell, he'll probably even find a plate of something on the table when he wakes up, failing that; hopefully he doesn't mind some fruit filled crepes, if that's the case.]

He came in here to make some cookies, this being the one post-crisis thing he's taught himself to do competently. He'll continue doing that, but he keeps casting Ignis vaguely alarmed looks as he works. Should he wake him up? His neck would kill him after sleeping like that all night, but his body's also a good forty years older.
Maybe he'll just work a little longer and see if Ignis wakes up on his own?]

...It's at least good that they all survived, if nothing else.
She's actually going to be spending a lot of time in the Kitchen, having taken over for Ignis for a while he's conked out; she's making just about anything she can, honestly, so if you got a specific request, she'll hear it. Even if she seems honestly really out of it; she'll be better when she's addressed, but one may probably see her just kind of staring deeply into whatever she's cutting up, or into space while she stirs some stuff. Either way, it's. A mess, but she's got work to do. It's something.
Camilla does wind up bringing meals to Jupiter and Mars, as well, should they need anything to eat. It's only fair, after all, and she can't really say she minds either of them too much. Though she suspects the feeling is likely not mutual.
It's later in the night that Camilla can be found on Route 205, with most of her Pokemon out with her on that bridge. It's definitely a somber mood tonight, and Camilla is absolutely just holding Altena and Haar very closely while they cuddle on up to her. It's...honestly, just really nice out tonight, and the air is good for all of them. Even the ones who are playing on the bridge, chasing one another around.]
...We really do have such hideous amounts of determination, don't we. [It isn't stated to anyone in particular, though if anyone's nearby, they might hear her.] We cut it so close, each and every time. It's worrying, isn't it.
[There's a lot on her mind, to say the least.
She'll probably be in the kitchen again come Sunday, as well, just kind of keeping a general rhythm of cooking for everyone. She'll be a little more mentally there, then, at least.]

He finds one of the beds and sits down there with Chazuke, Mizushi, and Natto sitting in a semi-circle around him as he rummages in his bag for some towels he'd shoved in there. He lets Grace out, giving her the task of running some of the towels to the kitchen to be dampened (and if you're in the kitchen you might find an Eevee bumping into your legs, silently asking you to help her up to the sink), using them once she returned to wipe the three larger Pokemon down since they were all still ashy from the fight in the cavern.
Atsushi then has Mizushi sit on the bed next to him, carefully spraying his wounds with a potion bottle, occasionally spritzing Natto with the same. Remarkably she's in better shape even after challenging Heatran head on. Mizushi is just exhausted really, after both attacking for so long without reprieve and everything.
...of course, the Floatzel isn't getting out of the TLC without Atsushi pulling him into a hug, to which the Floatzel looks down at him for a moment before carefully returning the embrace, patting Atsushi's back with his paws and licking his hair, slicking his bangs off his forehead in the silliest way possible.
He's tired, they all are, but...things are improving. Slowly but surely, and that's something.]

It all got a little emotional for Michael towards the end, so perhaps it's no surprise when he bows out of the base immediately afterwards. At least he's not so worked up that he'll run out without letting people know he's going. Anyone who follows him will find him ushering all those ghosts he collected back out of the Pokemon Center. They disperse slowly as he waves them on, looking sort of like a long and angular mother duck. He retrieves his belongings while he's there, and a few other things as well. Maybe it was just because of Saturn, but that last Galactic Base did not have a wide range of foodstuffs.
On his way back, he pops into the residences along his route as well. He doesn't know any of these people, so it's not exactly a visit. Really he just yells:]
Hey, the space thing's fixed!
[Before heading out. Tonight just reminded him of the last night he visited Liam, to let him know about time. That's all.
Back in the base, he gets some dinner from whatever Camilla made and repairs to the kitchen himself. He'll be making chocolate-chip cookies again - no experimentation this time, just whatever version of the recipe he seems to have settled on. He goes around to bring them to people when he's finished.]
Here, have some sugar. I didn't put anything weird in these ones.
[Half the group seems beat. That's not unusual, but they seem a lot worse off than even that shitty confrontation warranted. Maybe he should catch up with Team Right Stairs at some point?
Mars and Jupiter will be offered some cookies too:]
Veganism is a Saturn thing, right? Not a Galactic thing?
[That done, he'll settle into one corner with all his Pokemon. Gaston's rhinestones could do with some fixing, and you may also catch him having a quiet conversation with Jane Doe. Michael never really told her about Jupiter's role in how they met. At some point he falls asleep there, resting back against the coiled bulk of his Milotic. That's probably not going to do him any favors in the morning.]
no subject
Jupiter is sitting on the floor in one of the side rooms; she seems to have gotten over curling around herself and putting her head down for now, so for the time being she's just kind of...honestly, she's taken her hair out of the styling she's usually got it in, letting it spill down her shoulders and shaking it out a little. The effect is a little weird, and she's still not even trying to pretend she's got her shit together, but you know what, she's here, and the question actually gets her to laugh a bit, briefly.]
Definitely a Saturn thing. If it were a Team Galactic thing, I would have quit by now.

Anyway, while much of her time is spent around the Base trying to find said research materials (possibly asking Jupiter or Mars if they can direct her to them), she is also entertaining herself with the new form of her companion. Namely, that he is silently miming out a wall! Actually, a pretty big wall in one hallway!
... A wall which is, actually, there. It's just invisible and made of psychic barriers. So hope you don't run into it? Zelda herself is on the far side of it, mostly there with the Sheikah Slate to try to take some photos of it. ]
Oh, do be careful...!
[ Though as Sunday comes, she's walking out into the city proper. A little bit antsy even though she didn't really do all that much, her main stop is actually the herb shop to gather up some last minute supplies before they set out again. ]

The fact remains that he can't sit around doing nothing, so he does what he's done best whenever he's in a fit of anxiety. He cooks the vegetable stew he always offers to the group, including an offering to Jupiter and Mars. There's not many hard feelings right now considering they did both agree to unchain Palkia at great personal risk to themselves.
By Sunday he seems a little less.... blank, and can be found just outside the city with his menagerie of Pokemon in tow.]

closed to mars;
She'll find her in that side room with the window eventually; Jupiter's taken her hair down out of the usual style, leaving it to hang loosely down her back, because she's not here to even pretend that she's got her shit together right now - but judging by her general demeanor, it seems like she's going to at least try for the time being, she doesn't seem worked up or upset or anything, just kind of here.
She taps gently on the doorframe as she enters, to get Mars' attention and not just startle the crap out of her.]
Hey. You still want to go back to Master Cyrus, or do you want to wait for a little while on it?

Yeah, definitely. It would be pretty stupid to keep him waiting.

To be honest, I'm not really sure if I want to go back right away. That's kind of stupid, isn't it? There's some stuff I want to talk to him about - beyond the Palkia situation - but...
