[Mars' chains had faded away as soon as the chains on Palkia had shattered, that unnatural red glow leaving her eyes; she doesn't stumble, to her credit, and seems to be trying to resist the urge to flinch or anything, but she's...not precisely looking too hot, either. Not like she's going to faint or anything, just like she's been through A Lot.

Jupiter is staying near her for the time being; ultimately, she's the one that addresses you.]

You guys can stay here if you want. Or don't, I don't care enough to insist. But we've got food and beds that probably beat the Center's, at least.

Ah, it is another one of those things I had always held an interest in, but there was always so much else to be done...

[Camilla looks among the little bit of a mess she's made in the kitchen--at least trying to avoid anything with knives for the time being, but--]

How about I teach you how to make a nice little sweet treat, to start? I've got some of the more savory implements out of the way, and it would be quite easy to direct you as needed.

[The crew has been lingering nearby without actually cramming into the kitchen, but Latona does trudge in at Emmeryn's request so Emmeryn can hand Manaphy's egg off.]

Ah, we made a new friend earlier today, Camilla, but best not to let the dear get in our way for now.

[Camilla does tip her head a bit at the egg--she recognizes it, obviously, but it is a rather unusual looking one. Still, it gets a smile.]

Oh, but of course. I was about to suggest that; you're going to need your hands free for this, and I wouldn't want that sweet little darling to have something happen to them. It'd be a travesty.

[Just let her get some ingredients together...she'll pass Emmeryn a bowl to get started, along with the aforementioned things. Camilla's got her own little station with it, so she can follow along.]

Now, to start with...let's get the flour, sugar, salt, butter, and shortening into the bowl and mix it together--we'll save the ice water for a little bit, but for now, follow my lead.

[It's a good thing Emmeryn got her hands cleared off, because we're hand mixing this stuff. Just get right on in there and start mixing it together, get it all incorporated!]

[It comes with another light little laugh, though; the egg will be fine when we're cooking but will she—all right okay here we go, Emmeryn is very literally starting from absolute zero here, so she fumbles here and there trying to keep up, with the occasional—] Is this the right amount? [or,] Oh, excuse me, just one moment... [But she's a fast learner and a smart cookie, so it's all coming together even though mixing is absolutely not her strong suit. She has no arm strength, what's the right way to do this, bless her heart does she try but she struggles......] Ah, is this all right?
