[Mars' chains had faded away as soon as the chains on Palkia had shattered, that unnatural red glow leaving her eyes; she doesn't stumble, to her credit, and seems to be trying to resist the urge to flinch or anything, but she's...not precisely looking too hot, either. Not like she's going to faint or anything, just like she's been through A Lot.

You guys can stay here if you want. Or don't, I don't care enough to insist. But we've got food and beds that probably beat the Center's, at least.

[Eustace is found propped up on one of the beds with a sleeping Rose in his lap. Her tendril arms are coiled around his waist, so he has to strategically receive Emmeryn's tea offering, but he accomplishes it! He's just not allowed to actually move from this spot anytime soon.]

[Because actually yeah, it was way more than just Manaphy. But Manaphy was the most unexpected part.]

I didn't think primal beasts reproduced. Should be interesting to see what Manaphy's offspring is like.

[For a moment, Emmeryn goes quiet, thoughtful. Of course, she always carries warmth with her, but her smile softens and so does her voice, just so, when she speaks.]

All we have seen this world's deities do, and yet you were all so quick to come to my aid. [She might have missed Eustace about to start fucking barking at Manaphy, but everyone had seemed so impressively fighty, crowding her when she came to.] I wanted to thank you for that. Even though everything has worked out perfectly well, I truly am grateful.

[And, straightening herself up some—] The head of our pantheon at home has offspring of her own, but I hardly know what to expect from this one. There is research to be done, but we may just as well have to learn as we go.

Mm. [Initially, that's his response: a short way of saying "no problem". But he seems to not be pleased with his own terseness for once, and ends up speaking back up.] Of course. And if something comes up again, we'll be by your side.

[Because that's what allies do. They keep each other safe. The Eustace of the past might not have thought that way, but things are much, much different now.

Even "ally" sounds too formal at this point. Emmeryn's a friend. And after all she's done for the group, it makes her protection all the more natural.]

Not sure where you could find info on it other than maybe Canalave...though that's an easy bet at the same time. That library was stacked with Sinnoh lore.
