Yes, I'll meet you coming back when the universe has expanded
[Mars' chains had faded away as soon as the chains on Palkia had shattered, that unnatural red glow leaving her eyes; she doesn't stumble, to her credit, and seems to be trying to resist the urge to flinch or anything, but she's...not precisely looking too hot, either. Not like she's going to faint or anything, just like she's been through A Lot.
Jupiter is staying near her for the time being; ultimately, she's the one that addresses you.]
You guys can stay here if you want. Or don't, I don't care enough to insist. But we've got food and beds that probably beat the Center's, at least.
We'll be around, either way. Since I doubt you guys are just going to leave us alone after all that. Do what you want.
[OOC: Consider this a log to cover both any afterparty whatnot you want to get up to, as well as something to carry over into Sunday! Both Jupiter and Mars will be available for NPC threads on this particular log, should they be desired.]

[IGNIS PULLED A GODDAMN MORAG AND SHE HATES IT?]

[aka, he decided to have that talk right after Noctis disappeared]

[Frustrating as it is to admit.]
At this point, the only one who'd have a chance at getting through to him is Noctis. And even then...

[Which is where a person with a normal sense of boundaries would leave off.]
But things were screwed up enough between them that I don't know how well it would work. Weird dynamic.

[Camilla has to think about it for a moment.]
...I wonder, really, just how much Noctis knew about the extent of Ignis's devotion. Perhaps I am giving him the benefit of the doubt here, but I do believe Noctis loved Ignis--it may have simply been a difference in how they view one another, perhaps.

[Michael purses his lips a moment in thought. Romantic relationships between humans are something he understand more in theory, than anything.]
They probably needed to talk about it, but I think Ignis needed to talk to someone who wasn't Noctis about it too, you know? If he started trying to chill out on it because the king he served told him to, that's - is that all that much better?
no subject
No, not at all. He'd just be going about as he always does, following his king's every wish...
[Which defeats the whole purpose of asking him to do such a thing.]
I'm truly not sure if it's something he'd be able to grasp; Ignis has enough of a problem seeing himself as anything more than the king's adviser, and he's been attempting to find worth in himself, but... [It's frustrating, a tiny bit.] It's hard to shake what you've believed your entire life, and to try to forge another path.

[Michael pulls himself up to sit on the kitchen counter, like he's a teenager or something.]
But I didn't have anybody I cared about, to change things with. Guess that's different.
