Week 22.
WEEK 22 The last time you were in Snowpoint City, it was after a week of hiking through waist-deep snow and a perpetual storm; needless to say, the flight is a little rough due to turbulence but it's definitely nowhere near as miserable. Granted, the seasons are turning and as such the city is even colder than it was before; it was frigid in July, and as it turns out, it's even moreso in November. But the snowfall within the city itself is gentle, if constant, coating the buildings and rooftops with a light powder that sticks just enough to be played in. The temple doors are no longer frozen over, though the gym remains closed; the Shellos here seem to be trying to re-enact West Side Story again, but that's likely better than simply being blank and emotionless. There have thankfully been other changes to the world, as is noticeable when you arrive; among other things, the people at the Pokémon Center seem to recognize you, and they seem almost pleased to see you... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: SNOWY TERRAIN MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week twenty-two of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

After that, he visits the temple. You can probably find him hanging around there, either having an entirely one-sided chat with Big Blinky, or else just poking around.]
It's funny how this guy's the only god with a temple here, isn't it? Unless we count that church from Hearthome. I don't, that was just weird.
[Tonight, he'll be making kompot in the Pokemon Center. It's finally cold enough for the single other human food he really knows how to make!]
Want a mug?

[Ignis brought a hand to his mouth in thought, Hemera at his feet and silver Eevee perched comfortably on his shoulder.]
There's the statue back in Eterna; safe to assume by now it's a combined dedication to Dialga and Palkia unless I've very much misunderstood how it looks. Odd that we've not encountered anything for the creator god so far as I'm aware, though.

[yes because that's the important thing here]

[why are you like this]

[heh heh heh]
Anyway, it seems like the creator is usually fairly hands-off. Just made the world and went about its business. By my understanding, humans back home worship their creator gods because they think it'll get them something. Here, you kinda know that won't happen.

Worship of the Six didn't quite fall out of fashion so much as it simply wasn't often practiced openly. Little point in ritual when you know your deities are asleep, after all.

[you know, as you do]
This feels more like the opposite end of things; a world in which gods exist in a waking form, but treat humanity in a more passive way.

It seems like the more powerful gods here are more like that. Spend most of the time off on another plane - maybe watching humanity, maybe not. Though I guess they must put in some appearances, or we wouldn't have stuff like the statue.

Maybe.
[ She answers dully. She wanted to see Regigigas and/or Candice (mostly Candice) up close again. ]

[Well, maybe. They did build this whole place.]
Doesn't look like people come down here all that often.

It is a bit interesting, though.

[.....]
Shaymin's field was actually pretty nice, I guess it's doing fine.

[And if people want to go harass the Guardians, well, they can clearly do it already.]
The cave mouths were all safe enough. People could just leave things there.

I don't understand how the Guardians don't have shrines of their own.

Even if those legends about them were scary, you're not a species known for your common sense. I'd have thought we'd at least find a little shrine at the cave mouth, or something.

Hopefully the kids are always talked out of it.
