Week 22.
WEEK 22 The last time you were in Snowpoint City, it was after a week of hiking through waist-deep snow and a perpetual storm; needless to say, the flight is a little rough due to turbulence but it's definitely nowhere near as miserable. Granted, the seasons are turning and as such the city is even colder than it was before; it was frigid in July, and as it turns out, it's even moreso in November. But the snowfall within the city itself is gentle, if constant, coating the buildings and rooftops with a light powder that sticks just enough to be played in. The temple doors are no longer frozen over, though the gym remains closed; the Shellos here seem to be trying to re-enact West Side Story again, but that's likely better than simply being blank and emotionless. There have thankfully been other changes to the world, as is noticeable when you arrive; among other things, the people at the Pokémon Center seem to recognize you, and they seem almost pleased to see you... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: SNOWY TERRAIN MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week twenty-two of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

Even so, he can't help but train anyway. It's all he knows how to do, and it keeps his Pokemon happy, so he can't really refuse them. Today, though, practice is a pretty laid back affair: Sena's just throwing the football for his Pokemon to catch. Although...throwing is kind of a strong word for it.
He's doing his best.
Eventually, though, between his clumsy tosses and Portus cheating by just telporting to where the ball's going to land, the Kadabra switches place with Sena and starts throwing balls instead. And by throwing them, he means "psychically launching them with the speed and force of a bullet." It's an awful lot like Hiruma's sharp rotating passes, actually, so Sena doesn't find it too alarming.
In fact, he's so used to that type of pass that onlookers can find Sena joining in on the catch practice, weaving in and out of his team with precise accuracy. While he can't always overpower or outspeed them (they've all evolved enough that they're definitely faster and stronger than him by this point), his own finely tuned instincts and extensive practice means that he can sometimes outmaneuver them on sheer footwork alone.
It's. It's definitely some kind of training, but isn't this just kind of a more ridiculous version of catch...?]
danger catch
[This seems more effective than battling, tbh]

I-I-Isn't that kinda dangerous?
[That's the point, Sena.]

...Y...You'd think someone would have tried that already...
[He means just the shooting him with a gun thing. Not the psychically launching one into his face thing.]

[He actually seems mollified by that response.]
I'm still not doing it.
[Portus seems like he'd do it, though.]
