[...Well, if nothing else, this trip to Giratina's World has been enlightening if nothing else. Even if everybody just kind of found out nothing that they really wanted to find out, nobody had to die tonight, and frankly, that was enough.

This has to be one of the oddest places to do their usual 'after near death experience' parties, to say the least, but food is generally one of the better cures for such a thing and will be seen to, one way or another. Even in this weird, weird world.

Rest easy, everyone. Even in...quite possibly the most uneasy place known to man.]

...I understand that. People shouldn't have to sacrifice their gods-forsaken-selves constantly--it's simply unfair, because they always leave so much behind.

It shouldn't be. Such things shouldn't be built upon the bodies of others--it's cruel, it's utterly hideous.

[Ignis took a slow breath, letting it out gradually.]

...I've been so stupid--we all were. None of us should have let him go. I...I've been so foolish for my entire life.

[anythingforyou]

...I know, Ignis. I know.

[Her tone sounds so utterly apologetic.]

I'm...sorry. For whatever it's worth.

...it's not your fault. I just...have a lot to learn still, I think.

...Perhaps.

[Camilla's grip on his shoulder tightens a bit, but her tone is warm when she speaks again.]

But you're not alone, you know. Even if it takes time to learn, we'll be there with you.

I...suppose you're right. I'm not used to relying too much on others.

...I know. You've been the one relied on for so long--it's made you want to hide any of your problems, so that they would never see you falter.

[It's gently stated, at the very least.]

...is that wrong? Before all of this, I never thought to question that approach.

...Neither did I, until I realized there were some things I simply couldn't handle on my own.

[Camilla's tone is warm when she says that much.]

It's good to have people here who seem infallible--that way everyone has someone they can rely on, when things are too much for them. But even those sorts of people have problems of their own. And if they aren't taken care of, it's bound to make the whole house of cards come down, all at once...

People like that...they can take care of other people, certainly. But they must be prudent in attempting to take care of themselves, as well. And sometimes...that's realizing you can't handle everything alone.

It's difficult. I've always equated being fallible to...outright failure, at least for myself. Handling things is my entire purpose, and if I couldn't do that, then...

[He trailed off, occupying himself with petting Highwind.]

I've never been much for taking care of myself past simply keeping myself functional.

...I understand that. Believe me, I do. Knowing that you've failed stings even more when you've done everything you've possibly could to try and prevent such an occurrence from coming forth.

[Camilla just...watches, really. Not that he can tell, but...]

Sometimes the hardest lessons to learn come from such failures. So long as they aren't catastrophic, of course, but...it takes a lot of strength to try to pick one's self up from failure, and try to examine what went wrong--and what could be improved upon.

[...She sighs, just a bit.]
