[...Well, if nothing else, this trip to Giratina's World has been enlightening if nothing else. Even if everybody just kind of found out nothing that they really wanted to find out, nobody had to die tonight, and frankly, that was enough.

This has to be one of the oddest places to do their usual 'after near death experience' parties, to say the least, but food is generally one of the better cures for such a thing and will be seen to, one way or another. Even in this weird, weird world.

Rest easy, everyone. Even in...quite possibly the most uneasy place known to man.]

[So. We don't have a kitchen over in PokéHell so we're kind of lacking in food, but fortunately Jake has the next best thing - and by "the next best thing" I mean Jake has more kompot than God. Seeing as it's versatile and can be served hot or cold or literally whatever and it has more than enough sugar content to keep people at least reasonably functional, there are definitely worse things to be stranded in the Distortion World with.

So you know what, he's going to be wandering around passing out straight-up mason jars of weird blue kompot to whomever's around and looking like they could use some, though it's admittedly in a brisk, sort of distracted way. Like his mind's somewhere else.]

Here, just take some and try not to go into some kind of sugar shock from it, okay?

Anyway, once he's done that, he'll actually separate off from a fair amount of the group, sitting on the ground near one of those weird pools of water on what probably looks like a wall to half of you down there, but who's counting. The water is calming, seeing as it's not ocean, and he's got a decent view of whatever Cynthia's doing with the hellbeast down there.

Keeping an eye on her seems like a good idea right now, for some reason.]

[As tempting as it is to want to just...shove her head into one of those waterfalls, Rey is resisting the temptation long enough to seek Jake out. Her conversation with Cynthia had ended well, but there were some parts in the middle that had made her feel...less than comfortable.

How much of this stuff do you have, anyway?

A lot. [He shrugs a bit.] It's like I said, it's one of those recipes that you can just take and scale into infinity, and I tend to get really bored when we're in the smaller cities.

[...you know, the sad part of this is that she was walking along with Arion and Travant, and at least one of the two managed to catch that before she did--the words kind of get her out of her head, and Camilla winds up chuckling a bit.]

Oh, thank you, Jake. I truly appreciate it. Something sweet would be perfect after this...

[One of those heads passes the jar back to Camilla, and she's actually probably gonna share it with the little guy too, probably. But she's not quite leaving yet, at least, just kind of looking to him.]

How are you holding up?

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Fruit and sugar and water, and literally nothing it can't fix.

[He'll shrug at that question, though.]

I'm doing all right, I guess. Kind of weirded out by that whole thing, but it's not too bad, I'll manage.

[Bucky can't help but grin a little at the jar of kompot. He really liked the stuff while living in Romania.]

I wonder if I can, here? Normally I couldn't, I'd metabolize it too quickly.

[His grin widens a little wider at his own suggestion, like he's seriously considering testing this while they're in what must be this world's equivalent of hell.]

[Ignis had, for perhaps the first time in Sinnoh, barely been able to navigate even with Hemera guiding him. The Distortion World was simply too much to ask, and he'd mostly stayed on Highwind's back as they traveled. Now he was sitting on the ground with his back to the curled up Altaria, a silver Eevee comfortably settled in his arms and Hemera nearby.]

[...What a terrible mess this all was.]

[Well, when Camilla finds Ignis, she's. Going to just be joining him over there, not even gonna lie. Arion's pretty close by too, both heads just kind of having gone on ahead and probably sniffing at Highwind before Camilla comes on over and just. Takes a seat.]

...Are you quite alright over here, Ignis?

[Let's. Get the obvious question out of the way first.]

...I'm just disoriented. I don't have any frame of reference for ground level here.

[Camilla's honestly pretty damn distant, all considered, after the whole...thing with Giratina and Cynthia. She's...honestly still a little unhappy with everything that transpired, but at the very least she's trying to keep something of a front up. Even if cooking is...not looking like it's going to happen tonight, really.

Camilla honestly does find herself off over towards over towards the waterfall, with her Pokemon out--they're a little ill at ease with everything still, but Haar in particular has been enjoying the falls quite a bit, despite everything, and it's nice to have all of her teammates out and about and at least trying to have some fun, even if some take to the area better than others.

Arion and Travant are sticking incredibly close to Camilla, though, that's absolutely no question. Either way, she's...both kind of here, and kind of not, mentally at least. She can honestly just be found wandering in general as well with her two-headed dragon son close by, trying to walk out some nervous energy while keeping her eyes out for him.]

[She's noticed that Camilla seems a bit out of sorts tonight, and she knows in some ways that she should probably leave her alone; just the same, however, she'll approach eventually, her expression placid as ever.]

Camilla. Could I ask you to come with me for a little while...? It would only have to be for a few minutes, if you'd like.

[...Oh, this is...

Camilla's brow certainly raises a bit, though she greets Cynthia with a smile and just kind of does her best to focus her gaze a bit. Arion and Travant kind of perk a bit at Cynthia's voice too, but they're swiftly called back by Camilla.]

...I would not be opposed to such a thing.

[She's at least calm about that much, and she'll go over and join Cynthia, actually, so they can walk together.]

Though I am curious about what reason you've sought me out...?

[If anything, she figures she's like. Near the bottom of Cynthia's liking list, or at least very close to it.]

[Michael might be the one who got particularly snappish this time, but Camilla still seems kinda out of sorts.]

[Oh--Camilla looks over to see Michael, raising a hand in greeting before just. Kinda shaking her head.]

These experiences always tend to be so draining, Michael. I'm doing about as well as I can.

[Chelsea stumbles past Camilla and lunges to grab her drowsy Spheal and keep him from rolling off the edge of the platform. She catches her breath, looks over to Camilla, and laughs nervously.]

Uh, hey. The waterfall does look pretty interesting, don't you think?

[Well... cooking in the Distortion World is once again an adventure for Bucky, and he is probably going to want to never cook this particular "vegetable stew" if he ever ends up leaving the region. But it's important, partially for making sure everyone has enough to eat, even if not everyone is a vegetarian. And also because offering food is about the only way he knows how to apologize for being an asshole with some understandable problems. So long story short, Cynthia gets a bowl offered for her, (though he doesn't necessarily need to talk to her for the sake of not having too many threads)-- instead he directs his attention to Giratina, also holding a bowl of the stew out.]

Are you hungry? It's just got berries in it, and some rice and beans.

[Later on, he can be found... around, wondering near the rest of the group, just taking in the bizarre euclidean geometry of the place. So long story short, but Bucky actually manages to entertain himself and his small herd of Pokemon by walking up the wall and standing there like it's no big deal.]

[...On the one hand, you are offering the elder god food, which is a bit of a surreal experience for pretty much anything that isn't a muffin of some kind and even that's been really recent.

On the other hand, the elder god is not one to turn down free food, apparently? It'll come over to take a look, at any rate. This is interesting.]

[Ignis was in fact 'around', sitting with Highwind and Hemera with his Eevee in his arms.]

[...honestly, the fact that he didn't seem to notice Bucky at all said a lot for how disoriented he was by the whole place.]

It's kinda fun when you get used to it, right?

[Michael's just gonna hop up onto the wall there too.]

[For much of the beginning of the evening, Michael's sitting off by himself near one of the outcroppings of weird plants. His legs are crossed, and he's slumped low to the ground, his face propped up on one fist. With his free hand, he fiddles idly with some of the weird spongy dirt by his foot.

His posture looks pretty upset, but anyone going closer will hear him speaking in low tones:]

- just sitting there. Well, it's floating, but it isn't doing anything.

[She's not at all visible, but Jane Doe is definitely still hiding in his shadow.

Eventually he gets her to emerge, and he and his Pokemon have something to eat. When Michael wanders over to attempt to talk to Giratina, though, he does so alone.]

So, do you drink antimatter?

[Hope you don't mind being joined near the weirdass plants, Michael.]

Nothing in here makes sense. I guess if this is where the god of creation puts everything it doesn't wanna deal with, you think?

[Chelsea has her team out as they eat what they've got left, though she's refusing to let Rolly out of her arms so he doesn't just roll off the edge of a platform. She sighs and looks down at the Spheal sleeping, then at the rest of the group around her.]

You ever feel this whole... survival, adventure, whatever you want to call the past six months, you ever think it's changed you?

Survival and adventure isn't all that new to me, since that's how I've lived for years. But...

[Eustace's gaze drifts down at Rose, who's still clinging to him even though the immediate danger has subsided.]

I've definitely learned a thing or two, dealing with Pokemon. Taking care of animals, for one. And...working things out without the need for battle. I think we talked about that at one point.

[About how he was struggling with not being able to handle things how he was so accustomed to. But he's been working on it.]
