Week 5.

WEEK 5 As of morning the next day, it seems the rain has stopped; with Azelf awakened and your newly-hatched companions by your side, it's possible that you're feeling a new sense of resolve regarding what needs to be done - and, perhaps more importantly, your ability to accomplish it. The device Maylene gave you certainly does seem to work; activating it will reveal a dark portal crackling with energy, shades of pink and purple swirling brightly around the outer edges, and those of you that walk through it will find yourselves quite suddenly standing somewhere else - there's grass beneath your feet and an unfamiliar city to the west, and the place you're standing seems raised up in some way; turning around once the portal has closed behind the last of you will reveal a massive bronze statue depicting a Pokémon of some sort, though what it is seems to be a little difficult to tell... The trip to Eterna City may leave you feeling a little dizzy and disoriented, and for a few uncomfortable moments you're likely very, very aware of your organs, but the effects will pass after a few moments and you'll soon feel right as rain. Of course, it'll likely become obvious very quickly that you aren't alone near that statue... Either way, it's a long journey up to Snowpoint City; you might want to take some time to make sure that you're prepared before you set off. It really does seem as though finding Azelf at Lake Valor has done the world some good, though, along with your combined effects on the world already; hopefully the Guardian at Lake Acuity in the north will be just as helpful... [ Klefki seems to make a noise (or rather just saying her name) in an affirmative way, which makes Ventus put his hands on his hips. ]

You're not supposed to be happy about that, you know.

[ He's smiling, though, and the Pokemon looks curiously at Zelda as she shakes one of the keys. No one's ever tried to do that before! ]

[hyruglyphics]

[ she can wrap a finger around one of the keys, at least? But all the same, she softly laughs at that before she says, ]

You really shouldn't give Ventus so many problems.

[ But her own town is more amused than anything. You do you, Kelfki Aurora. ]

[ventulus]

[ You know that mouth that sort of looks like a keyhole and like it can only remain like that? Well, the mouth kind of turns upwards into this kind of expression when Zelda says that and she wiggles the key that Zelda has a finger wrapped around.

She seems to find this entire thing amusing. ]

Wow, I see how it is. See what I have to put up with?

[hyruglyphics]

She does appear to be quite the handful!

[ Honestly, it's amusing. It's really amusing, and in that regard, Zelda's beldum urges itself forward a little to focus it's eye on the Klefki's face! Yeah, what's up with you!! ]

[ventulus]

[ When the Beldum does, the Klefki just jingles another one of her keys happily in the other Pokemon's direction just because she can. Apparently her messing around is what's up... ]

You can say that again!

[ Ventus blinks and then looks between the two Pokemon. ]

Hey, did you see that? Looks like they're sort of interacting with each other.

[hyruglyphics]

I can imagine they must be, right?

[ The Beldum can only communicate with weird beep noises but then, Pokemon can understand each other as a general rule so like. Miphanus is just sort of greeting her politely. ... It's mild mannered. ]

[ventulus]

Do you think they'll become good friends?

[ Klefki is making her own noises of excitement -- she's giving a decidely less formal response and moves from Zelda to the other Pokemon. ]

I hope so? It would appear that Aurora is quite ... friendly?

[ I mean, the Beldum will just bob after the greeting and then... well, it asks if she can move all those keys freely or not? Does she just have a lot of arms therefore? ]
