Departure.
SENDOFF. For a Team Galactic stronghold, Eterna City is a lot more pleasant than it could have been. You've largely been left alone by the locals except for those which you've chosen to engage. and they all still seem rather blank and dead behind the eyes; that said, however, they seem a bit more...lively here than they have elsewhere. They notice you, and perhaps more telling they have vague interest in things - in pursuing things just because they can, and not because they have to. However, your time here is drawing to a close; it's time to leave, to head north to Snowpoint City - and it seems that some of those people that have noticed you have caught wind of your intentions. After all, it's very cold up there; can you really be sure you have enough supplies? Just outside the Pokémon Center the morning you set out, there are large baskets full of supplies waiting for you - warm jackets and blankets, first-aid kits with medication that can be used on humans, and a few potions and the like for your Pokémon as well. There isn't any indication of who left them, just notes reading "For Our Visitors" tacked onto them. There's also something odd along with them - a box with a different note, written in flowery script. "I thought you might appreciate these. - Cynthia" As for what's inside...well, you'll have to open it and see. [OOC: Welcome to the end of Week 5! The box Cynthia left you contains one of your submitted material regains, whichever you decide that one regain to be! No NPC response will be given to this post, though you can thread here amongst yourselves if you wish; we'll see you tomorrow at noon with a new log for your further adventures!] |

[ he throws the toy sword on the ground and scowls. sorry, ventus. his temper's showing. blue's just peering up at him curiously, not quite reacting to keith's fit of rage. he throws the sword away from his two pokemon, at least. ]

[ ...He doesn't understand it, it just seems to be a plastic sword. But maybe it's somehow important to him? So he kind of asks in a straightforward manner: ]

[ it may look like a little knife, but it's clearly got a lot of importance to keith. his hands clench into fists at his sides before he crosses his arms. ]
I don't know what Cynthia's trying to say by giving this to me, but it's definitely not helping.

[ Ventus figures it must be important for him to react that way, but still... ]
I think she was trying her best to still give at least something resembling it back to you because she wasn't able to give you the real one. [ ... ] She's been helping us out, so she wouldn't do something terrible -- and I bet if we would look hard enough we'll be able to find your real one somewhere, right?

[ he's pretty upset about this. he hears what ventus is saying, but he doesn't believe it. it doesn't help that he's never interacted with cynthia personally. this is his first real impression of her, and it's not a good one. ]
It wasn't something I just lost by walking around--Galactic probably stole it. That's my guess. And if it's true, it'll be a long while before I even have a chance of getting it back.

[ He grimaces -- no it doesn't help Keith wasn't there for when they first met her or when she bailed them out of a possible confrontation that was definitely too early to happen... ]
Even if it might take awhile, it's better than there being no chance, right? And you never know, we might stumble onto a place of theirs sooner than later.
