Week 7.

WEEK 7 After a week of nothing but snow, it's likely that the city is a welcome sight. The city proper is likewise blanketed in snow, but it's far shallower here, easily walked through; it's soft and powdery and unlikely to cause you to slip, the kind of snow small children and Pokémon might enjoy playing in if they're the sort to enjoy that kind of thing. And if they were capable of enjoying much, in the case of the children. That said, the people here are still in the mildly improved state you witnessed in Eterna; it isn't much, but it is improvement, and the world around you continues to change in other, smaller ways as well, so it isn't all for naught. The wild Pokémon here, however, seem to be experiencing something a little...different from what you've been seeing so far - specifically, the Shellos here seem a little hostile toward one another. Snowpoint City is separate from and parallel to the giant mountain you passed last week, and it's populated by both the blue and pink varieties; the different sorts...don't seem to like each other much. It isn't all-out warfare or anything, but there are definitely skirmishes and mounting tensions happening in slug culture here. Mediate if you choose, or just enjoy your time in the city. You've earned it, after last week. Never heard of that place before. Can't say as worldly as you. I haven't ever left the part of Japan I live in, anyhthing beyond that is entirely unknown for me.

These few weeks have been the most sightseeing I have done in my life. Frankly... [...] ...you think I can tell you something? About going back to my world once this is all over and this world is fixed.

You think they'd let someone stay here instead of going back?

[Well, maybe not immediately because he has to pick up his daughter, but you get what he means[

From what we've heard, this place was pretty nice before Cyrus fucked with it. Even as they are now, the people here give us stuff, like in Pastoria and Eterna. I can't see them telling anybody to get out, or saying we're not welcome here.

[As far as he can tell.]

You're thinking about it, huh?

Pretty much. My daughter and I were going to leave and try to make new lives for ourselves. A new start, leaving behind all the trouble we had at our city not too long ago.

This world would be a good place for that -- no way anyone from home would find us here.

Yeah, I understand. I had to fall off the grid a while ago myself, I've got some unfortunate connections that had to be covered up.

I can't stay here myself, I've got stuff to get back to. But I can see where this would be a great opportunity, if I could. Good luck with it, man.

Yeah, I can imagine the mercenary business is the kind that'd get all kinda trouble to you.

Yeah. Some of it's that, some of it is just being associated with somebody who managed to cause a lot of problems for everyone. Either way, it's working out better for me now.
