Week 7.

WEEK 7 After a week of nothing but snow, it's likely that the city is a welcome sight. The city proper is likewise blanketed in snow, but it's far shallower here, easily walked through; it's soft and powdery and unlikely to cause you to slip, the kind of snow small children and Pokémon might enjoy playing in if they're the sort to enjoy that kind of thing. And if they were capable of enjoying much, in the case of the children. That said, the people here are still in the mildly improved state you witnessed in Eterna; it isn't much, but it is improvement, and the world around you continues to change in other, smaller ways as well, so it isn't all for naught. The wild Pokémon here, however, seem to be experiencing something a little...different from what you've been seeing so far - specifically, the Shellos here seem a little hostile toward one another. Snowpoint City is separate from and parallel to the giant mountain you passed last week, and it's populated by both the blue and pink varieties; the different sorts...don't seem to like each other much. It isn't all-out warfare or anything, but there are definitely skirmishes and mounting tensions happening in slug culture here. Mediate if you choose, or just enjoy your time in the city. You've earned it, after last week. Do you guys fight the sandworms? They sound like they'd be pretty strong.

Uh, not really? I mean, I guess ranchers could shoot at them, but you'd probably need a rocket launcher to put a dent in one. How come?

Sounds like it'd be fun to go up against one of 'em. The bigger they are, the more fun the fight!

Seriously? I knew you liked fighting, but I didn't think you wanted to get trampled!

C'mon, I haven't gotten trampled yet, it'd be fine!

The way you say that, you sound like the guy who parachutes out of a moving aircraft while people are shooting at you!

Parachute? Aircraft...?

I don't know how much I'd enjoy something like that. I'm not exactly a thrill-seeker or anything, I just like to fight.

Before I got here, I just went through an entire week of constantly getting shot at, getting captured, going someplace that was set to explode, and being the getaway driver while Angelica solved all the problems. I kinda need a break.

Too bad you're not getting much of one here, huh? Most of us seem pretty determined to try to save the world; that's about as far from a break as you can get.

[niceoppai]

Yeah, true. At least we haven't left destruction in our wake, just really confused people.

[fatalstrikes]

Yeah. We're all doing what we can, and honestly? It seems like we're doing a decent job so far.

[niceoppai]

Yeah! Even if we, uh, sort of screwed up pretty bad on that last one. Sena saved our bacon. I was surprised the kid had it in him, but maybe we just always get on topics that freak him out?

[fatalstrikes]

He's definitely got guts, standing up to her like that. He's probably a lot braver than we're thinking. It's definitely a good thing he was there!

[niceoppai]

Yeah, we're all gonna have to thank him. Looks like everyone's got something surprising to 'em after all.

[fatalstrikes]

Definitely. You know what they say about books and their covers, yeah?

[Yuri laughs at that.]

That's true enough. And if it keeps up, we'll all be able to contribute, don't you think?

Definitely. We'll all have Sena's back whenever we see Jupiter again, so I'm sure he'll be fine.
