Week 7.
WEEK 7 After a week of nothing but snow, it's likely that the city is a welcome sight. The city proper is likewise blanketed in snow, but it's far shallower here, easily walked through; it's soft and powdery and unlikely to cause you to slip, the kind of snow small children and Pokémon might enjoy playing in if they're the sort to enjoy that kind of thing. And if they were capable of enjoying much, in the case of the children. That said, the people here are still in the mildly improved state you witnessed in Eterna; it isn't much, but it is improvement, and the world around you continues to change in other, smaller ways as well, so it isn't all for naught. The wild Pokémon here, however, seem to be experiencing something a little...different from what you've been seeing so far - specifically, the Shellos here seem a little hostile toward one another. Snowpoint City is separate from and parallel to the giant mountain you passed last week, and it's populated by both the blue and pink varieties; the different sorts...don't seem to like each other much. It isn't all-out warfare or anything, but there are definitely skirmishes and mounting tensions happening in slug culture here. Mediate if you choose, or just enjoy your time in the city. You've earned it, after last week. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week seven of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

[Not too long after, he could be found near the site of what appeared to be a pink and blue slug standoff. Listening carefully with most of his team beside him and a Larvesta on his shoulder, Ignis either seemed to be deep in thought over how to handle the situation...or just trying to figure out what in the hell was going on.]
[After the sun had started to go down, he'd taken to training for a while near the edge of the city. It remained something of a difficult process even with the research he'd been doing; knowing specific moves seemed to be an occasional hangup for most of them. But he was getting by, sharp commands of a tactician with the concentration of a soldier. Sonantis in particular was outmatched by most of the Ghost and Dark types within the city, but there was still the occasional Magnemite he could handle. And after a short while of that...there was a bright flash of light, then all of a sudden the tiny Chingling wasn't quite as tiny anymore. Which prompted Ignis to remark under his breath:]
...likely going to need to ask someone what just happened there.
[Not that he was unfamiliar with evolution as a concept by now, but u ok buddy? Sonantis, for his part, floated right back over to his trainer with an almost cheerful-sounding chime.]

Enough success to get by, I think. It's almost seeming as though the residents are halfway interested in the concept by now.

That's great! I just sold some stuff I dug up on the beach. Found a couple pearls down there!

Edge of the City
Congratulations for your Pokemon's evolution, Ignis.
[It's proof of effort!]

[He reached out to the Chimecho, who seemed reasonably content to bump right up against his leather-gloved hand.]
...he's quite a bit larger now, isn't he?

[It's kind of cute, though]

Around the City
[Cat Janet is off on her own business elsewhere in Snowpoint, luckily, so it's just Michael and his new Gastly here, with nobody randomly attacking slugs. Of course, Ignis probably has no way to tell that Gastly's present; it does just sort of float.]

[but also like: what.]
What is it they're doing, exactly? I can't quite place it.

[ He's smiling as he watches Sonantis jingle along. ]
Are you proud of yourself, buddy?
no subject
[do you want a smiling bell all up in your face noctis, because that's how you get just that, all jingling up in your business.]
It seems quite the fascinating process.
no subject
Yeah, it's pretty cool. I wonder if Lepidia will get there.

[yessss pet the orb]

Yeah? I've got a ton to learn about this world.

He's a cute looking critter, isn't he?

[He seemed cheerful enough about the remark, petting the Chimecho lightly.]

[he's just going to pet this weird smiling bell orb, who seems reasonably happy about the situation.]
