Week 7.
WEEK 7 After a week of nothing but snow, it's likely that the city is a welcome sight. The city proper is likewise blanketed in snow, but it's far shallower here, easily walked through; it's soft and powdery and unlikely to cause you to slip, the kind of snow small children and Pokémon might enjoy playing in if they're the sort to enjoy that kind of thing. And if they were capable of enjoying much, in the case of the children. That said, the people here are still in the mildly improved state you witnessed in Eterna; it isn't much, but it is improvement, and the world around you continues to change in other, smaller ways as well, so it isn't all for naught. The wild Pokémon here, however, seem to be experiencing something a little...different from what you've been seeing so far - specifically, the Shellos here seem a little hostile toward one another. Snowpoint City is separate from and parallel to the giant mountain you passed last week, and it's populated by both the blue and pink varieties; the different sorts...don't seem to like each other much. It isn't all-out warfare or anything, but there are definitely skirmishes and mounting tensions happening in slug culture here. Mediate if you choose, or just enjoy your time in the city. You've earned it, after last week. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week seven of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

tuesday or something
Okay Monta, Nin, keep it up! Don't let Vee hit you!
[And then a rain of stars comes hurtling down. Watch out, Sabley-oh wait, you're a Ghost type, Swift won't work on you. Never mind.
Sena looks like he's in the middle of it all, directing Monta and Nin to either fly or dodge around the stars that Vee is firing, the said Eevee enjoying her perch on the top of his head. Looks like he's got something going on, anyway.
Sorry for interrupting, though.]

For a moment, he thinks he's wandered back to camp when he comes across Sena's clearing. He'd turn right back around, but... Ooh, those stars are shiny. Not like gems, but they sparkle like them. Like the other pokemon who've hatched from eggs, Rubin doesn't have much of a personality yet, but the characteristics of his species has him intrigued nonetheless. He reaches out a hand to the sky, as if trying to catch one of those wayward stars.
If he had the capacity to be disappointed when one just passes through him, he probably would be. Laaaame. Instead he just ends up staring at his hand, flexing ghostly fingers. Why couldn't he touch the shiny thing?]

Aaah?! Stop, Vee, stop! [And now there's no more stars. Sena jogs over to where Monta is, perplexed.] Did another wild Pokemon wander into...
[Nope. Hold on. Isn't that...]

Someone is definitely looking for him. There's a female voice calling out among the trees in the distance, but close enough to be clearly heard.]
Rubin? Rubin, where are you?
no subject
[That voice is familiar...then this Sableye is definitely hers! Sena raises a hand and calls out.]
Over here!

Kobayakawa-kun? [A figure slowly appears through the trees, peering into this clearing he's made for himself with harsh breaths. It sounds like she was running around a bit.] So you're out here as well.
[Her eyes find Rubin next, and her shoulders sag with relief before immediately looking cross again. As she carefully treks down a small but snowy slope to get into the clearing, Monkey is hot on her heels. He looks a little annoyed.]
Thank you for finding him. I was going in the complete opposite direction until I heard you calling out.

[Thought so. It's good to see you again after you vanished like that.]
Yeah, I thought I'd come out here to train today, instead of trying to step around all those Shellos...
[they weird him out, Tohsaka. Like. Seriously. They Must Be Up To Something.]
It's pretty easy to get lost in all this snow, though... [Says the one who has been making easy to follow paths in it, Sena.]

That's why you leave trail markers. [Wait...] From the looks of this area, I thought you were already doing that.
[Was this just for fun, or what... But oof. Okay, she's made it down here now. She's going to pick her Sableye up and look him over chidingly. Honestly, running off like that after he's already worn out from a battle.]

Monta makes doing that pretty easy...but this was just a space I cleared out for practice. We battled wild Pokemon on the way here, so I was trying to get Nin caught up with some agility training...what about you? You were training too, right?

[Even the Rotom she got in Eterna City is stronger.]
I'm sorry he interrupted you. He was getting worn down in the last battle, so I had Monkey switch in for him. Then the next thing we knew, he was gone.
[Speaking to the Sabelye now, her tone turns scolding.] You can't just wander off like that, Rubin. You didn't even let me treat your injuries!
[...talking about wandering off. Pot meet kettle, Rin.]

He's not the first Pokemon to interrupt us, so it's not a problem.
[He can't help but laugh a little at her scolding. It's almost funny seeing her "mom" the little ghost in her arms, and the irony of the whole wandering off thing doesn't escape him.]
