Week 7.
WEEK 7 After a week of nothing but snow, it's likely that the city is a welcome sight. The city proper is likewise blanketed in snow, but it's far shallower here, easily walked through; it's soft and powdery and unlikely to cause you to slip, the kind of snow small children and Pokémon might enjoy playing in if they're the sort to enjoy that kind of thing. And if they were capable of enjoying much, in the case of the children. That said, the people here are still in the mildly improved state you witnessed in Eterna; it isn't much, but it is improvement, and the world around you continues to change in other, smaller ways as well, so it isn't all for naught. The wild Pokémon here, however, seem to be experiencing something a little...different from what you've been seeing so far - specifically, the Shellos here seem a little hostile toward one another. Snowpoint City is separate from and parallel to the giant mountain you passed last week, and it's populated by both the blue and pink varieties; the different sorts...don't seem to like each other much. It isn't all-out warfare or anything, but there are definitely skirmishes and mounting tensions happening in slug culture here. Mediate if you choose, or just enjoy your time in the city. You've earned it, after last week. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week seven of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

"I'm going to try it too, I think."
[ That said. She laughs a little, the princess, and, ]
Miphanus seems to have invited themselves. Perhaps they're simply pleased to have arms now.
[ But it's said sheepishly before she nods and, ]
... But I would love to do so. I've never - well, I haven't done this much before.

[Haar almost cheerily speaks up, grinning at Miphanus while he and Arion get back to work with a smile. Camilla's eyes light up at Zelda, however, practically glowing with enthusiasm--]
Oh, I can hardly blame them! I would certainly be enthusiastic about what I could do with extra appendages were I not born with such things myself, but that's beside the point!
[Get over here, Zelda, no escaping now--]
I'm going to teach you how to build the loveliest of snowmen to commemorate such an experience. At least here you won't have to worry about the changing of the seasons erasing your beautiful work before we have to be off, hm?
no subject
Please do, Camilla! That sounds... very fun, and I should love to learn.
[ But yeah, they're digging the arms! Let's! Get rolling and... lift up the ball here... carefully... ]

[Camilla demonstrates, digging around the snow a bit and starting to gather the snow together into...well, some kind of pile that isn't just a pile of powder? Before starting to shape it a bit.]
Follow along with me, won't you?
[Meanwhile, Haar and Arion are cheering Miphanus on! You go man! Enjoy those arms!!]
no subject
I will, certainly!
[ Hmmm ]
Did you do this often, before?

Oh, every winter! Snow is oh so plentiful at home--I'd take Elise and Corrin onto the training fields at the castle, where the snow was so heavy and workable, and we'd all make the most beautiful of snowmen. Leo and Xander would sometimes join in as well, if they had the time--it really made all of us feel like family.
And when we got back inside, we'd have nice, warm cups of tea and fresh cookies waiting for us, courtesy of the castle's help. It was truly an adventure that was oh so fun to undertake!

That does sound very fun. ... Very warm.
[ She never got to do anything like that. ]

It takes a few seconds for her eyes to gain a mischievous glint to them.]
You know, I remember the recipe to those cookies.
[...there's something else in there, honestly.]
no subject
Oh, do you?

[Okay, that's getting an almost sing-song bit of silliness. This is fun? And it's nice to sort of possibly share a tradition with Zelda, she thinks.]
no subject
[ It sounds... nice. ]

[Beams!]

She wonders, if the circumstances had been different, if she and her Father might've had more than they did? As it was, it's just a useless what if. So instead, she simply nods, blushing a little. ]
I appreciate it. It is very kind of you.

[Camilla goes back to making her own snowman for a moment, and her next words are...a bit more idle.]
You remind me a lot of her, you know.

[ And Corrin's a unisex-ish name, so even process of elimination can't determine which one she means!! Still, she smiles softly at the idea, pausing a bit in their piling. ]
no subject
[Okay, that was genuinely her mistake. But...]
My sweet Corrin is who you remind me of. [...] You have her bright eyed, ever curious way of looking at the world...and the determination to go your own way, no matter what should happen. You're so independent and kind, that it truly is a wonderful reminder, every time I speak with you.

... I am pleased - and... flattered. [ . . . ] You've been truly kind to me this whole time, Camilla.
