Week 7.

WEEK 7 After a week of nothing but snow, it's likely that the city is a welcome sight. The city proper is likewise blanketed in snow, but it's far shallower here, easily walked through; it's soft and powdery and unlikely to cause you to slip, the kind of snow small children and Pokémon might enjoy playing in if they're the sort to enjoy that kind of thing. And if they were capable of enjoying much, in the case of the children. That said, the people here are still in the mildly improved state you witnessed in Eterna; it isn't much, but it is improvement, and the world around you continues to change in other, smaller ways as well, so it isn't all for naught. The wild Pokémon here, however, seem to be experiencing something a little...different from what you've been seeing so far - specifically, the Shellos here seem a little hostile toward one another. Snowpoint City is separate from and parallel to the giant mountain you passed last week, and it's populated by both the blue and pink varieties; the different sorts...don't seem to like each other much. It isn't all-out warfare or anything, but there are definitely skirmishes and mounting tensions happening in slug culture here. Mediate if you choose, or just enjoy your time in the city. You've earned it, after last week. [There's so much to unpack there, from the perspective of a common yakuza hailing from a normal world. So many sentient races, and then there's monsters, and spiritual creatures. It's hard to know what's the first question to ask, because several cross his mind immediately]

It's no big deal. It's just that it's stuff I'm not used to. Like spiritual beings. There are legends, but they're just legends. Nothing that actually exists.

[And it's not like Kiryu is particularly knowledgeable about these legends. He knows just as much as the average person]

They're like...ghosts? Ghostly animals?

Oh yes, or perhaps they have a life between divine and living. Fairies, for example. Or Poes, though those are ghosts more properly. The dragons, as well...
