Departure.

ASSISTANCE.

As your time in Jubilife City comes to an end and the continued journey to Lake Verity is set to start again, you'll be met on the outskirts of town today; seeing as she heard you're heading south toward Sandgem Town, that's the section of town where you'll find her. She's someone recognizable by those who entered the school this week - she's one of the teachers that's been there during the day.

She can't say long, she's quick to explain that much to you in the rambling, roundabout manner of speaking that most of the locals still have, odd and vague and sometimes directionless but generally improving; just the same, she and some of the others have gotten a few gifts together for you before you go on your way - she hopes they'll be of some use to at least some of you, whether they can be used on your Pokémon or simply for research purposes.

Sure enough, she has a box with her, and she'll leave it in your care before she moves to return to the school in the middle of town.

The box itself seems to be full of evolutionary items of all sorts; there are a lot of them in there - if you need them, they're likely there - ranging from stones to held items to things that are decidedly harder to find. Either they've been waiting to give these to someone, or they have some means of obtaining them here, but either way the woman giving them to you isn't going to stick around long enough to answer questions.

However, she does say one thing in parting; it's perhaps surprisingly confident, given how the locals tend to be about things.

"Hopefully these will help you defeat Team Galactic for good."

[OOC: Welcome to the end of Week 11! Enjoy your evolutionary items, guys.

No NPC response will be given to this post, though you can thread here amongst yourselves if you wish; we'll see you tomorrow at noon with a new log for your further adventures!]

enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

Yes, it would. I'd ask you, but... well, perhaps I ought to wait and see if I catch a new Pokemon before that.

[His poor, wimpy bug...]

Hah...maybe one of these days Chazuke here will be strong enough to take her on!

[The Wimpod lets out a pathetic sounding little noise that sounds like he'd die if he had to.]
enjoymyatelier: i think he's fucking her navel (that position is bizarre and improbable)

Yes, perhaps at some point a good, long way in the future.

[Hey now, he might surprise you...one day.]

Compared to me, you guys have been training a whole lot longer, too. I actually...didn't train Chazuke at all the first month he was with me, so...

[Whoops]

...

Well.

I suppose no one would have encouraged you to.

No, not really...but we've been working on it! I've learned all the moves that Chazuke knows at least, so now it's just a matter of getting him stronger.
enjoymyatelier: have fun storming the castle, kayneth (a totally honorable mage duel)

Right, of course. As he gets stronger, he'll probably learn new moves, which should help you come up with new and better strategies.

It's...a little hard knowing what the moves are though. Michael-san used a...TM? To teach him Double Team, and then he knows Sand Attack and Struggle Bug.

We had to figure out Struggle Bug through charades.

[But it worked, somehow.]
enjoymyatelier: but what would that even do. (gradients of babylon...?)

Ah... yes, it's a little difficult. I can usually look things up whenever we get to towns, but... when my Pokemon learn something in the middle of nowhere, it occasionally takes me a good, long while to figure out what my Pokemon are doing unless it's simply hitting something.
