Week 1.
WEEK 1. As Cynthia had promised, the sun does indeed rise the next morning. Whether you slept or not (and sleeping inside the Pokรฉmon Center you were in before seems totally fine by the attendant), it seems Cynthia kept her word; she left sometime shortly before sunrise, and you haven't been bothered by Team Galactic and those that work for it in the interim. It isn't advisable to return to the headquarters building, however. At least not for the time being. However, a new day does dawn, and with it comes the knowledge that you're in an unfamiliar city, completely on your own. There are several things to be done before you can leave: gathering supplies and provisions, finding maps, obtaining new clothes... Of course, your new "companions" are still with you, and they don't seem willing to leave your side; they'll follow you dutifully, but they still seem...wrong, horribly so, and it doesn't seem to be wearing off. Maybe if you work with them a little...? Try to talk to them, train them, teach them to do things... Who knows? It might do them some good. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week one of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend! Feel free to investigate the city as you see fit this week; we ask only that you try to stagger investigations and be mindful of what's already been checked. If you wish to investigate, notify the mods in your comment subject for your top-level and we'll get on it as soon as possible!] |

It is always good to have. Clothes are known to tear rather easily, especially if they're beautiful...what do you like to do then, Zelda? You must keep some interesting hobbies.

[ She sounds somewhat embarrassed to say it, but that's... what she is, right? ]

[Camilla seems almost mock offended when she says that, though she's quick to go back to a smile.]
Why, that's a lovely way to live. My little brother does the same such thing; he experiments with all sorts of different magic, and reads to become a scholarly young man. I find his work ethic to be admirable, and yours sounds like it could match his.

My studies are far more in the realm of the ancient technology of the Sheikah, dotted throughout the world. Or the natural world itself!

[Color her curious, if nothing else. That sort of thing doesn't interest Camilla in the slightest, but it's honestly nice to hear Zelda so enthusiastic!]

[ She comes to life here. ]

Oh, how wonderful! Such things like that are usually lost to time, aren't they? I certainly hope that such a calamity hasn't forced the need of such things again, but...
[Camilla looks at what she's got so far knit--it kind of looks like a giant sock/glove?--and seems to nod her head, before looking back to Zelda.]
What sort of divine creatures exist where you come from? Tell me about them; I imagine they must be truly beautiful creatures.

I say Divine Beasts, but that is only what we've chosen to call them. They are truly massive weapons, equally ... no, greater in size than that "Department Store" we both went to today. But despite their awe-inspiring scale and power, they were actually made by people. The ancient Sheikah constructed them too.
We have discovered four, each tied to the one of the principle tribes of people in Hyrule. The Zora have Vah Ruta, the Gorons Vah Rudania, the Rito Vah Medoh, and the Gerudo Vah Naboris. Each have different capabilities and forms, often reflecting the abilities of each of the tribes.
Vah Ruta, for example, has the form of a four legged animal with a long nose-like appendage at the front, and is capable of producing almost limitless water, reflecting the aquatic nature of the Zora themselves.

To think that people could make such things...I suppose that goes to show what can be done if one puts their mind to such things. They sound absolutely incredible to behold, and if they weren't made by people...I would almost consider them akin to the gods we have at home.
You say that Vah Ruta creates near limitless water...if I would to garner a guess, would that mean that the others are associated with elements of their own?

[ She explains it all in an excited but matter of fact tone, not wanting to embellish, but also not wanting to undersell them. Because she is astounded too by the idea that they could be made by people. ]

[And she thought the dragons and wolfskin were interesting creatures. These ones sound absolutely powerful.]
And to think that all we have are the dragons...I certainly wouldn't want to be on the adversarial side of one of them. They sound more powerful than most would be able to comprehend!

[ A fervent nod ]
Though of course, these weapons are meant only for the defeat of the Calamity...
